OK, to change Quacks topic a little bit I would like to know your 6 magical moments you had during your DLRP visits! What are the things you remember from your stays at the resort...

Here are mine

1. In the car, driving off the motorway at the Disneyland exit, watching the scenery outside change to perfectly landscaped and manicured gardens, passing the hotels NPBC, SL, New York, Santa Fee and Cheyenne on your way to the DLH. :hyper:

2. Standing on the reception of the Disneyland Hotel and saying: "Yes I have got a reservation for 4 night and 5 incredible days!" :woohoo:

3. Walking along the corridor in the Disneyland Hotel and dreaming of being able one day to spend 2 dream-nights and 3 days in the Castle Club or even one of the suits! :Pinkbounc

4. Hearing "Notre visite commence ici..." while you are alone in the elevator of PM at 7:58pm with you boyfriend and the CM says: "Please move to the centre of the room!" :wizard:

5. Having a table near the window in the Mainstreet room at Walt's and seeing the everyday life in the Mainstreet. :worship: :groom:

6. First entering Main Street after your last visit! :cloud9:

These are my magical moments I remember most! pixiedust:

My favourite Magic Moment is when you first enter Main St. and see the Castle ahead of you. Gets me quite emotional. :wizard:

At Christmas we has a table at Walt's near the window. It looked fantastic when the snow was falling..
My magical moment would be the look on my daughter face during the parade when she is waving. especially when they wave back to her.
Watching her interact with characters at cafe mickey.
The first time that we walked though main street.
Going on the rides at fantasy land ..my DD favourites.

1. Getting the first glimpse of DLP from the Thalys!

2. Walking on Main Street 1 hour before Park Opening (that's the reason why one shouldn't take the train to the Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast!)

3. Tell Minnie Mouse she's the most sexy mouse on earth after waiting in line for 45 minutes in the freezing cold, just to get a picture wih her. I got a HUGE hug from her!

4. Having breakfast at Café Mickey on my 25th birthday, and getting a birthday hug from THE Mouse himself! (nevermind I (wearing my Minnie ears) was the only one who didn't fall in the category "kids" or the category "accompanying (grand)parents)

5. Mickey waving from Main Street train station at park closure, and "saying" he loves me too and likes my ears after I "yelled" "WE LOVE YOU MICKEY!" (my brother was embarrased and could sink through the ground.)

6. Getting a surprise hug from Mickey while shopping at that store near Indy. It's always nice to encounter Mickey while he's strolling through the park on non-busy days!

Hey are you pinching my ideas LOL ;)

Ok I have only been once - but my magical memories so far:
1. Watching my little boys faces as they see the characters for the first time (especially Mickey outside of his Studios caravan)
2. Catching the first glimpse of the castle as you enter the Town Square for the first time EVER and realising you ARE HERE!!!!!
3. (one from my DH here) Phantom Manor - the whole experience - despite being accompanied by a crying 7yr old (who is NEVER going to PM again)
4. The magic of the Princesses parade, seeing Pluto do a cartwheel and singing to the 'catchy rhythm' music (the tune stayed with me for the duration of the holiday - first thing I did when I got home was ring up and order the CD.

Oh, I love threads like this one!

My fave memories, in no particular order, are:

1) Arriving on the Eurostar and hearing Disney music as we leave the station.

2) Seeing Sleeping Beauty Castle for the very first time.

3) Watching Wishes or any of the parades, I love them all.

4) Having our photo taken with Mickey Mouse on Christmas Day.

5) Riding Big Thunder Mountain in the dark.

6) Eating lunch at the Lucky Nugget on Christmas Day, my fave fox Robin Hood was there!

These are great, guys! Keep em comin!

5) Riding Big Thunder Mountain in the dark.

this is one of my favorite things to do in WDW, I look forward to it in DLP :)

1 - walking down main street (on your first disney visit EVER).... towards the castle, with your best friend, just before xmas... and wodnering what that Tink-sounding "tinkle-tinkle" noise is... and seeing children, parents, grandparents etc with their mouths open and tears in their eyes as it starts to snow!

2 - a cup of latte-tea and a donut from casey's whilst waiting for the xmas parade!

3 - singing "mickey mouse is coming to town!" with minnie...

4 - all the lights going off... and looking down mainstreet watching them come on, then up at the castle... with the "ring the bell" section of the fairytale ceramony...

5 - the CMs keeping everyone waiting for the parades entertained!

I know this is only one, but my most magical moment was on my last visit, just with my DD aged 5. We arrived in the Disneyland Park just as the Enchanted Fairytale ceremony was finishing - so we walked up Main Street watching the chandeliers and the Castle light up, while the "snow" drifted down!!! :cloud9:

My six magical moments

1 The excitement of finally being able to pack my case
2 unloading at the hotel and realising that you are finally THERE
3 First view of the Village and DIsneyland Hotel even though it's pitch black and you can't see anything through the gates.
4 First walk into the park under the hotel with the sound of the music playing and the sounds of over excited youngsters.
5 first walk round the castle gallery and visit to the dragon below - love that one!
6 First stroll through from Adventureland to Frontierland. For some reason I always love that bit.

My top six moments were

1)seeing the castle for a first time..at night in december-truely magical!!(if you read my december 2005 report you will have heard me raving about this already!!)

2)Being surpirsed with buffalo bills

3)My first go of phatom manor-not knowing what to expect!!

4) rock and rollercoaster-i had a smile on my face the whole way through(and then doing it two more times)

5)Not really wanting to watch the christmas parade..then finding it one of the best moment of the holiday!!

6)Buying princesskins(katy my GF) a ring from in the castle-she was so pleased!! :goodvibes

Hard to fit in just 6 but heres a go - 6 magical moments in no specific order

2/ The thrill & emotion of Space Mountain De La Terre a La Lune - though yet to experience Mission 2 ( cant wait )

3/ Big Thunder Mountain at night ( again ) & the atmosphere of Frontierland as a whole

4/ Watching my little sisters face for first time on Its A Small World

5/ After Fantillusion parade waiting for the Fireworks to begin & when lights go out on Main Street ( makes the hair stand on your head !! )

6/ Cinemagique - pure genius.

Oh great question :thumbsup2

1. Coming out of the station and seeing the DLH in all its splendour

2. Walking up Main Street and seeing the castle foe the first time :)

3. Just arriving, grabbing a hotdog from Casey's and as we sat down the parade music started and we saw the whole parade there and then - having just been in the park for 5 mninutes on our first day! It was my 30th Birthday too :) and I may admit I shed a little tear at this point :cloud9:

4. My DD meeting the dragon under the castle

5. The adventureland CMs who kept grabbing my Sorceror Mickey hat and running off with it

6. The Phantom Manor

.... and many more. 3 is my most treasured though :)

Only 6- oh boy

I've had to do 3 general magical moments

Hearing Disney music - you know you've arrived.
Going to bed knowing you've another day there tomorrow.
The courtesy and politeness of the CM's

and 3 personal ones

Seeing Fantillusion for the first time (I had to fight back the tears, it was so beautiful.)
Watching the kids pin trading with the CMs.
BTM - I don't know how many times we've ridden it now, but we're all buzzing as we go down the final steps to the platform. Getting off and saying "let's do it again" :teeth:

oh oh oh.... from my first trip...

getting off the coach and being so excited even the drinks machines were magical cos they made those glug glug glug noises!
running from the coach to the park entrance (with all the other "grown-ups"!)
