Hi!:)

We are a family of 5 and are REALLY looking forward to staying at FW next week:banana:

My husband stayed there as a child and we are looking forward to creating new memories for our three kids. We are staying in a cabin and have a couple questions:

Would like to request a loop, but can't decide which one!! Any preferences?? We have a golf cart booked through Kenny so wondering if location really matters afterall:confused3

How is the buffet for breakfast?

What time is the marshmallow roasting?

If there are any other tips you can think of, please feel free to share!
We are bringing a few groceries, coffee, and coffee filters!

Thanks:goodvibes

Im a big fan of the 2500 loop. Its right next to a bus stop and the "other" pool. Im not a fan of crowds and it seems like less people hang out at that pool.

Breakfast buffet is great as long as you like Mickey Waffles, bacon, eggs, homefries, sausage and fresh fruit :lmao:

I have stayed many times in the cabins and love them. I have also walked all of the loops and I found that the 2800 and 2700 loop although the largest are also the most sheltered and quiet. Since you have a cart, location does not matter, since you will not have to walk to the bus stops

We just got back about 2 weeks ago from a great stay!! It was on the chilly side but it was still a great time.:thumbsup2

We were in the 2200 loop which was a really good spot. It was a short walk to the bus stop which was right at the end of our loop. We rented a golf cart the first few days and then dh came up with our bikes and we used those and the internal buses to get around then. We did find this loop convenient because it's almost in the middle of the campground. We have stayed in the 2600 loop before which is a bit closer to the front (Outpost) area but it's a large loop. I liked the 2200 loop because it seemed the same distance almost to both the Outpost and the Settlement area. (more in the middle)

The campfire/marshmallow roast started at 6:30 then. Chip and Dale were there for pictures and autographs and the sing-along started at 7:00 which was fun. We also roasted marshmallows and made smores (a few times!) on our bbq right outside the cabin. That was fun especially when it was cold and the fire kept us warm LOL! We brought marshmallows, Hershey bars and graham crackers and skewers. We did purchase a small bag of charcoal from the store at FW.

We have stayed at many of the resorts over the years and I have to admit I absolutely love the FW cabins. There's something that's so relaxing about them. I'm not a good sleeper in hotels...but in the cabins I get the best sleep, there's no common walls or floors (no one next to you or above you) which is so nice! OK there may be the usual squirrel running up the tree outside your window LOL! But, I can deal with that! And, when we were biking around, everyone we passed would say hello and were so friendly and warm. We'll definitely return there again! ENJOY!!:goodvibes

Thank you all so much!! Decisions, decisions!! Thanks for sharing your experiences.

:woohoo::woohoo: I can't wait!! I think the cabins will be our Disney home for years to come...sounds right up our alley:)

We stayed in the 2100 loop - with no golf cart - and loved it because it was so centrally located. It is also a smaller loop, so not far to go to hit the road! Loop 2200 is pretty close to the same location, and a smaller loop.
I also liked being next to the camping loops, it made me feel more "in the thick of things".

So, I guess it just depends what you're looking for.

Have fun! You are going to be sooooooo hooked! :thumbsup2

Honestly, with the golf cart, any loop is great. I have stayed in 2100 and 2500 so far. Even if you get a cabin that butts up next to the road, it will be quiet.

Have fun. We stayed at ASSp this year and wished we would have stayed at FW!!!
