6 days in WDW - how MANY character meals would you do?

You can never be overladed with Princesses. LOL! We actually saw Alice and Cinderella 3 different times and my DD was just as excited each time.

We ate at CRT, Akershus, and 1900 too. But CRT was dinnter, so we only visited with Cinderella there and the fairy godmother and mice did a show during dinner. I want to go to a breakfast or lunch some day so we can intereact with the princesses there too.

I've actually never done a character meal all the times I have been to WDW, but this is the first time with kids. I am going in Sept. and am planning 5.

CRT breakfast, Chef Mickey's dinner, Akershus lunch, Crystal Palace Breakfast, and Mickey's BBQ. We get free dining so that uses my 7 TS credits. DD is 3 and loves Mickey & Princesses so I figured might as well do it all since we're going for her!

We do one just about every single day.

I can dine in regular establishments or do fine dining at home. Only at Disney can I dine with the characters! :wizard:

This is so true!! No such thing as princess overload!

We did 1900 PF, Akershus and CRT lunch. Princesses for every meal and DD was just IN LOVE! :cloud9::lovestruc

I guess it depends on the age of your children (if you have children). We were there for 7 days and did 6 character meals - character overload but it was a way of keeping my 2 year old entertained while I got to eat a meal in peace. I think as she gets older we will balance out the meals with some character (probably princesses meals) and restaurants her father and I would enjoy.

Good point!!!

And I would think like pp said that kids being entertained by characters makes it easier for parents to enjoy/eat their meal.

We are going in July for 6 nights and are doing 3 character dinners and 4 non-character dinners. We are taking my parents, my aunt and my little cousin (6) who have never been to Disney World. We wanted to give them a whole overview of Disney Dining. My 3 and 1/2 year old daughter (who has been to WDW 5 times) chose Cinderella's Royal Gala Feast, Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, the horsie place (Whispering Canyon Cafe) and the Fishy place (the coral Reef). We are also eating at Rose and Crown and Chef's De France.
We have already done a character meal everyday of our trip and love it! :goodvibes

You can easily do ten different locations.

Crystal Palace - BLD
Cinderella's Royal Table - BL
Garden Grill - LD
Akershus - BLD
Hollywood & Vine - BL
Tusker House - B
Cape May Cafe - BD
Chef Mickey - BD
1900 Park Fare - BD
'Ohana - B

We are going for five days, and will do two character meals (Auskerhus and Crystal Palace), and dinner at TRex. I love the Park Fare Cinderella meal concept, but just can't get psyched up for lugging two kids and a husband from AKL to Park Fare on Disney transportation!

We usually average one character meal a day. We have little kids and they love it, and it gives us a chance to eat in peace. I love Tusker House for breakfast and Crystal Palace for lunch. You'll have a blast no matter what you decide.

WE would not do any. No kids, and my general level of social awkwardness makes them less than fun for us.

I was bummed when they changed CRT dinner from the fairy godmother's less interactive, but still cute, little show, to yet another meal with the princesses making the rounds.
