So I got 6 full days at WDW for my family of 3 (including myself), okay 4 if you count the one on the way :).

So preg. wife, 4 year old turning 5 on the trip (girl who loves princesses, animals and star wars), and myself.

trying to figure out what would be the best way to break up the parks (not doing the water parks) and of course some shopping at Disney Springs.

Right now my break down is like this:

MK - 2.5 days
DHS - 1 day
AK - 1 day
Epcot - 1 day
Dis Springs - 1/2 day (primarily because we already have a BBB appt)

Kind of debating bringing AK to a half day to bump DHS to 1.5 days. Love to get some advice though.

We definitely want to spend the most time in MK though because that's the most "Disney" of all the parks.

I think your schedule looks good. With all the new stuff at AK (Pandora, Rivers of Light), I would keep the full day at AK. DHS is barely a full day park for us.

We just got back from a trip with DD(3), and DS (almost 8).
We did the following

MK - 2 days
DHS - 1 day
AK - 1 day
Epcot - 1.5 days (just DH and my son went on Day 2 to do Test Track)

DD is also princess crazy so we did a lot of princess stuff. We did 1900 park fare for dinner on arrival night, so didn't have to stand in line for Cinderella and did RD for Enchanted Tales with Belle, so 2 princesses taken care of right there :-)
If you can get reservations for Arekshus in Epcot on your Epcot day, I would really recommend it - simply because it would save you a lot of time meeting the princesses individually.
We RD DHS and were able to get DS into Jedi training, which he loved.
We were hard-pressed to fill our DHS day though. Also, highly recommend Frozen sing along at DHS. We could have skipped Beauty and the Beast - the kids had just watched the movie and were not very impressed by the live show.
We would have loved an extra day at AK - it is definitely more than a 1 day park for us (and we even stayed at the AK Lodge )

DHS - rope drop and I'm out in 2-3 hours, depending on stopping for a drink/app at HBD, that's all I need these days.

I will be there for 7 days, break down, 3 MK, 1.5 Epcot, 1 AK, 1 HS and .5 Disney Springs.

Thank you all so far. Sounds like I have it decently right. My only bummer is the one day I have us going to DHS (it's just what works with where I could get all our ADRs scheduled) also happens to be Magic Morning (and we're not resort guests). So worried even at 9 am rope drop the lines will be terrible with all the resort guests already in (mainly Rockin' Rollercoaster since we chose to use our Tier A FP+ on Toy Story Midway Mania since we all can enjoy that ride). I've also read that single rider line for that ride can be sometimes worse than standby.
