My family (me, DW, DD 10, and DS 1) spent a few days at New Smyrna Beach, and got to the world on Sunday, Nov 9 - at about 3:30. We stopped at our favorite Publix on the way (near Seaworld), and checked into the CSR.

We love the CSR - and the Pepper Market. We had hoped for Cabanas 9B - but they were being re-done, so we went with Cabanas 8b - which were great (the CM said 9A used to be smoking).

After doing a quick unpack, we headed for our reservation at Chef Mickeys! It was our 1 year old son's first time, so we were excited. He was a little scared of the characters at first, but gradually got used to them. We love Chef Mickeys! We did a little shopping and headed back home.

11/10:
My daughter and I hit EMH at AK, and rode Everest 7 times. After getting some snacks, we headed back to the hotel. We all got cleaned up, and went to the Pepper Market for lunch - which would become a regular activity. Love the Mexican food there! We then all went to the MK! We took our son on Small World, Winnie the Pooh, and the TTA. We went to Pooh's Thoughtful Spot - and he loved it! We went to see the parade - which we love - but he fell asleep in the stroller! We then hit Toon-town, and let him play in Donald's boat and the other playground they have there, and then took the Train back to Main St. Had some dinner at Casey's, and called it a day (Dancing with the Stars was on - my DD couldn't miss it!)

11/11:
EMH was at DHS, so my daughter and I hit that - and the mad rush to Toy Story Mania! That was weird - adults running, kids falling and crying and their paresnt having them keep going - and people nervous about getting a fast-pass and then running into line - nuts! We went right on the ride - and loved it! We got a fast-pass, and the did TOT and RNC twice - love them both! We then did Star Tours, and did Toy Sory Mania (I lost this time!). We planned to come back later with DW and DS, so we got some more fast-passes. We then headed back to the room. Same story - we all got cleaned up, had lunch at the Pepper Market, and then we all went back to DHS. DW and DD did Toy Story Mania, got some Playhouse Disney character autographs - Handy Manny and a Little Einstein - and then hit the Playhouse Disney show! Our DS stared the whole time - and loved it! We headed back to CSR - got some dinner for the little cafe, and called it a night.

11/12:
I got up early and drove around the property - and check out the Wilderness Lodge (which we had stayed at before). When I got back, DD, DS, and I went up to the MK for rope drop - and let Mom rest. We did Dumbo, Small World, Peter Pan, and Pooh, and watched my daughter do the Teacups twice! DS fell asleep, so we went to CBJ. He woke up as soon as it ended! We the rode Magic Carpets, got and Orange Slushy, and headed back to CSR. Got Mom, went to the Pepper Market, and hit AK - which had an evening EMH. When we got their, I realized I left something in the room, so I went back and got it, while everyone else shopped. The parade was just starting, so we walked ahead of it and did Kilamanjaro Safaris. We then went for our dinner reservations at Rain Forest Cafe (which we enjoy). It started to rain, so we did some shopping. As soon as it ended, we went back in, and my daughter and I rode Everest 3 times - love it at night! We then called it a day.

11/13:
DD and I hit MK for EMH. We rode Space Mountain twice, did the Indy Race Cars, Teacups, HM, Splash Mountain twice, and BTMRR - and then headed home. Typical process - cleaned up, ate lunch at the Pepper Market, and then went back to the room. DS took a nap, and DD and I went swimming. We went back to the room, and all went to Epcot around 4. Got fastpasses for Soarin. We did the Nemo ride and then checked out the Aquarium - which our DS loved. We looked at some of the exhibits (went in Bruce's mouth!), and then saw Turtle Talk - which our son lasted for most of! We then went and had dinner at the Sunshine Terrace, and then DW and DD did Soarin. We did some shopping at Mouseworks, and then headed home.

11/14:
I got up early again and went over to the Boardwalk - checking out the hotels and walking the DHS. Went back to the room, and we all went to AK. We saw the Lion King (DS fell asleep!), and then had lunch at Pizzafari - which we like. Did Kilamanjaro again, and then did Everest. It was hot, so we decided to skip Dinoland and the Boneyard (which we originally planned to do). Got back to CSR, and swam for most of the afternoon. Everyone was getting tired, so we went for dinner at the Pepper Market, and hung out on some hammocks! The shuttle launched that night at 7:55, and we were told we should be able to see it, but a freak storm came through at 7:45 and ended that hope! After that, we called it a night.

11/15:
Last day! We packed up, got some gas at the Hess station near the Boardwalk (cheapest gas I saw in Orlando) and headed back to the airport for our 1:00 flight.

Had a great time - the weather was about 80 during the day, with low crowds. The CSR was pretty empty I thought - at least on the Cabanas side. Driving through the parking lots early in the morning (trying to get our son back to sleep!), I saw very few cars. Trip was great - and we can't wait to do it again!

Glad you had a great trip.

I took my dh over to the Pepper Market and he loved it, he kept begging to go back over. I thought it was expensive, since we were not on the dining plan, but it was really good.

We drove over on Friday and watched the Shuttle Launch. It cleared up about an hour before launch..I need to find pictures of it on the internet. My little digital camera didn't do justice.
