6/7/11 - It's a double dip DREAM!

Here's some pillowcases I had a friend embroider for my kids. Hoping to get lots of autographs on them.

My daughter just saw them for the first time, that's why she's in the pic. She didn't know what the heck they were or what they are for, but they had Mickey and Minnie on them so she loved them!

SOO cute! Love the Mickey and Minnie!

I showed Lily and she said, "Hey! My shoes!" She has those white sandals from Target, too. :rotfl:

Honk when you pass through MS! We'll be right behind you! Leaving around noon, stopping in Lake City to spend the night.:yay:

Looks like we'll be right ahead of you .......We are leaving on Thursday and we are also staying in Lake City. It's only 2 hours and 15 minutes from WDW! Have you ever taken the newer 'back way" 429 south from the turnpike? We use it all the time and LOVE IT! You don't have to get on I-4. It saves time and headaches and the best part..........NO TRAFFIC!

Yes, we love to take that route...especially the part where you can look to the east and see WDW!!! I'm the "kid" who always shouts, "I see WDW!!" Love it!!

Wow, that is a LONG road trip. About how long is the drive? I think that'd be fun. Luckily we booked our flights around Thanksgiving time and we got a great rate for the 3 of us out of O'Hare :thumbsup2. We're flying out the Monday before.

Just looking at the FE spreadsheet and noticed it still has question marks for LisaLyght's stateroom number. Is this person still participating?

Just want to make sure I have enough FE stuff!

Would you be willing to share directions for the wristlets?

I bought a pattern at the fabric store, and modified it a little to move the zipper from the top to the front (by just making the back piece longer) - it just made the whole thing look a bit smoother (otherwise the zipper bunched up at the edges). I think it's a Butterick pattern... figures I can't find it searching online... Anyway, the pattern was for purses/tote bags mostly, and also had the "wallet with the ID window" pattern. Browse some pattern books at your local fabric store, I'm sure there is something similar.

Something tells me she's going to make a better pirate than her parents... (L to R - the 4 year old's outfit, my outfit, daddy's outfit)

Never did it before since we are fairly new here. We are going to take two days to get there!! It should be fun (keeping my fingers crossed)!! I told my children they better be :littleangel:

We are driving too. It will take us just shy of 20 hours coming from Kansas City, Missouri. We are hitting the Chatanooga Aquarium on the way and spending the night in Georgia. Any suggestions for the night south of Macon, but not quite to Flordia on I-75? I was thinking about Valdosta, GA.

You guys are all brave! We are flying in on the 6th and going to WDW after the cruise. Is anyone else going to WDW after the cruise?!?!

We are driving also- from Oklahoma.

We are also going to WDW after the cruise. My parents, brother's family and 1 sister are staying at the Boardwalk. My family and one of my other sister's family are staying at their timeshare.

Hi All-
Just checking back in now that school and sports are winding down.

We've stopped in Tifton - not quite to Valdosta- and I would highly recommend the new Comfort Inn and Suites. Brand new hotel with interior hallways, very nice staff and a decent free breakfast.

Thanks for the info. That is the other town I was considering. It will probably work better for us to stay there and it is only 4 hours from WDW so we can get up and be there by noon.

I'm not sure how brave we are, but the kids are 8 and 10 and we wanted to go to the aquarium. I second guess my decision every day. Our longest road trip with them has been seven hours. Wish us luck. We are leaving after my last teacher work day of the year. So I get to come home get the car ready and hopefully leave the house by 8:00 pm. Darn, those snow days.:rotfl:

I found instructions at http://thimbleanna.com/?p=566.

Thanks for the prayers and positive thoughts on the passing of my mom.

We're at AKL after the cruise. We usually do the parks and then cruise, but this time we mixed it up. Where are you staying?
