6/7/11 - It's a double dip DREAM!

:faint: OMG - I can't believe it...my sister just posted personal information on the internet.

"it's the big one, elizabeth!"

:rotfl2:

Do you have any idea how hard that was for me?

Peer pressure.

Oh, yeah. Your brother wants to go to lunch on Thursday.

And stop telling people we are related.

Gotcha!!! :thumbsup2

Thank you so much!! We are so excited to do this again! Anyone who has not done this, you will enjoy it immensely!

One night on our cruise we were going around with the list of people. We got to one room, started to put the gifts in the FE and WHAM - the door opened...we all stood there like kids with our hands caught in the cookie jar. LOL We all just laughed like crazy! They shut their door so we could finish, then came out and we talked for a bit. It's truly fun blessing people with little gifts for their family. It is also great to come back to you cabin throughout the day to find little treasures, some even home made. :0) My family and I look forward to sharing this experience with those of you wanting to do it as well!!! :0) :0) :0) and  for good measure! LOL

I can't wait, although I have A LOT of work to do!!!

Out of curiosity - does anyone have any kids around the 2 1/2 or 3 yr old mark? Our daughter is 2 1/2 (3 in August) and it would be fun to meet others who have kids her age to maybe play with. Just a thought.

Get going on that work Kelly! I'll be expecting great FE GIFTS! LOL JK :P

We are driving down on the 4th and staying at AK. Going to MK on Sunday. Going to the port Monday afternoon.

We're flying in the 3rd and staying at AK also. We will go to Magic Kingdom on Saturday, Disney Studios on Sunday, and Animal Kingdom on Monday. The hitting the Disney Cruise Line bus to the port! :0)

We have a 3 year old daughter! :)princess:

What's everyone's thought on a group meet? Anyone know of a day or place on the ship we could all meet up for 15-20min, just to say Hi? Some could also try and meet the night before the cruise for dinner? Just some suggestions!

I think we would be game! Just keep us posted. :0) How many will be at WDW before the cruise?

We will be in town the day before so that would be great either way. :)

We are flying in on the 1st and staying at AKL. It seems to be a popular place. :thumbsup2

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to chime in and say we are staying at AKV (Jambo Club Level) from April 4th - 7th and at SSR April 12th - 16th post cruise.

My daughter is the exact same age, she will be 3 8/26! She absolutely loved the nursery on the Wonder last summer so I'm hoping she'll love the one on the Dream even more. She's fully potty trained now so we're excited about her being able to swim and go down the Mickey slide. I still don't have our room number but maybe we can make plans to meet up closer to the cruise.

I apologize if this information has been asked before but I couldn't find it on the boards or on the Disney website. How late can excursions be cancelled without penalty? The cruise is a surprise for our girls and I've booked several excursions but will probably cancel at least 1 or 2 depending on what my oldest would rather do. DH and our oldest swam with the dolphins at Blue Lagoon last summer so I'd rather do something else this time but it was such an awesome experience I went ahead and signed us up for the Blue Lagoon Dolphin encounter so the whole family can participate (youngest DD isn't old enough for the swim). If our oldest isn't disappointed about not doing the dolphin thing this year I'd like to cancel it. But I won't know that until we tell them about the cruise...

Lollie Follie - that is awesome news! We used the Mickey Slide as a training tool for potty training. It only took about 2 months cause she REALLY REALLY wants to ride the Mickey Slide. LOL She'll be 3 on August 6th. Addison went to the nursery on the Magic 2 years ago and enjoyed it, I'm sure she'll enjoy it more now. :0) We are completely open to meeting up as it gets closer. Are you going to be part of the FE exchange? If not, I highly recomment it!!

Our Cabin # is #6501. It's a category 10A (whatever that means LOL - probably cheap LMAO)

As for your question on the excursions, we cancelled one the day before and there was no penalty. But, it's always best to call Disney Cruise Line to find out for sure.

Since the cruise is only 5 days, we're using the Nassau day to just stay on the ship. Go on the Mickey Slide, take in a movie (Cars 2 maybe?), and just enjoy the new Dream. We did book the Bikes for Castaway Cay as those are our FAVORITE! Oh, and since this is a surprise for your kids, have you scheduled the Disney Character Calls? You can pick Goofy, Mickey, or Ariel to call your child at home. My daughter is going to flip!
