I've been chatting with a friend that is on the May 16th western and she said most of their cat 12 GTY's have been upgraded to an 11 or a 9! So that is really good news!!!:banana::banana: Guess we'l know in a few weeks too! So today, I am going out to look for FE gifts, and some fabric to have an FE made!

oooohhhh!! That's great- I hope that means good news for us!!

We love TL but now that the kids are older, they want to do the thrill water slides. You'll find me planted comfortably under any shade area I can find there! We are also going to TL again. Not sure which water park when. Does anyone know which one is more crowded? I'm thinking BB because of the thrill slides, but not sure. We are also doing DHS on Sun and Epcot on Mon!
Another question, entering thru the international gateway, does that open the same time as front entrance? We plan to be there at RD, usually have the FPV hustle over to Soaring for FP's and then get in standby line so we can ride it twice. But the hike is so much further. We may adjust our touring plans based on this. We LOVE LOVE LOVE soaring!:love::love:
Need to go find DD a one piece today. They say on Summit Plummet you make it down before your bathing suit top does if you are wearing a 2 piece! :scared1: Its a 120 ft drop at up to 60 mph! I'll only go that fast in a car, with a seatbelt! :lmao:

I wonder how many others are doing DHS on Sunday- we decided to go there on Sunday because I read alot of locals go to the waterparks on the weekends. We're not doing Epcot or AK on this trip.:sad2: We are trying to do 2-3 parks each trip, and we did those two plus MK(we always go there:love:)last May.

We were going to go somewhere else next year for vacation- but his cousin and his family want me to plan their trip for them, and now DH says we should go to.:banana::banana:I hope we decide to go!!

You can never get too much Disney, IMO  We are doing DHS and Epcot because of the convenience to where we are staying. We love MK but its not in the plan this trip. And in Sept we will only go to MK for the MNSVSHP (did I spell that right??? AKA haloween party!) Then do the 3 other parks, and leave one full day to enjoy biking, horseback riding, wagon rides, pool, etc at Ft Wilderness. We are staying in a cabin there. I just started asking DH where he wants to spend Christmas - maybe WDW? He suggested Hawaii. I think I read about Disney building some type of resort there. wonder if it will be ready???:rotfl2:

Which ones are you guys going to? I haven't been to either- so pretty excited about it.

We have been to both. We did TL when Brooklyn was young and she loved it. We did BB with Maddy when she was 2 and she loved it. We are doing both this trip so either one works for us. We are doing one on Sunday and one on Tuesday. :thumbsup2

My husband got an order to draw up the door pulls for the resort :) says it is to open in 2011.

That's awesome!! We are definately planning on going when it opens- I'll be saving up my DVC points forever probably to have enough to stay there. LOL

After a long beautiful weekend- it's raining again.:sad2::sad2:

Same here... but it was a beautiful weekend. We had a lazy day & thankfully Jayde's sinuses are much better (she slept a lot & used a neti pot). Michigan is horrible on sinuses even if you don't have allergies.

I keep thinking about flying in on Thurs night but Southwest's last flight is around 530ish & we wouldn't land until 11ish. :sad1: Oh well, we will have 1 day to enjoy Still watching for my return flight to go down.... even if it is $10 but it is up by $9.

It will probably go down again before the trip- Southwest fluctuates so much.:thumbsup2

I hope sooo! It would be nice to save even more $$$$.

Rain, Rain, go away ~ come again another day! Rainy, windy, & cold ~ COULD really use a vaca right now!!! We are getting down poured.... my yard looks like a swamp!

I remember reading somewhere way back in this thread about folks going to Channakanab in Cozumel and doing the dolphin swim...

are you guys booking through DCL or going "independently"?
Dolphin Discovery is offering pretty sizable discounts on their website (as well as the fact that they are significantly less expensive than DCL). Just wondering how you have booked.

(Yes, there is another thread on the "main" cruise line about Dolphin Discovery now telling guests WHO TELL THEM THAT THEY ARE ON DCL that they must book directly with the ship... that's another story.)

I booked through Dolphin Discovery- it was alot cheaper and DD6 was free!! So for the encounter for our family it was $155, plus we had to pay for her park admission which I believe was $5-6. So it would up being only 160.00 for us to go. Can't beat that, especially since DCL was charging I think $99 each.:goodvibes

Well, DH finally got a chance to mow the grass yesterday, all last week it rained, and it started again last night. I'm glad he did, because it may have looked like the Amazon rainforest if he hadn't.:scared1::scared1::rotfl2::rotfl2:

We booked directly through dolphin discovery - first, its cheaper, and second, I didn't think DCL offered the Royal Dolphin Swim, which is what we wanted. We booked independently for our last cruise also (2007) and it worked out well. In addition to the lower cost, I like being able to come and go when I please, depending on weather, kids moods, etc.

Sure has been quiet lately. We enjoyed the weather here on Friday, Saturday & part of Sunday until the rain came. Crappy here today.

For those doing FE--please change the following room numbers

under BethA

my parents-Betty and Joe are now in 8584
My son and his girlfriend-Blake and Katie are in 8586

Thanks

My mother and Blake were on the 6th floor, but the room connecting to us and the one next to that were open-so I switched them. With my mom in a wheelchair it would be too hard having us separated.

Thanks for updating the list for me!!

My TA told me today they had over 100 res for our cruise that were the cat 12 special price--I guess a lot of people will get upgrades since so many cat 4 are still open.

Wonder when they will assign rooms

Beth

Wow! Looks like the odds are good to get an upgrade! :) That would be sooo nice! I would take a cat4 :lmao:

Went to the Urologist this morning after working last night. Having Lithotripsy for the stones on Thursday. Hopefully, it'll kick it. Hope everyone else is well. I need to start working on my FE stuff!
