Both of our daughters are going to do it. They can't wait. My dd 3 asks all the time when she can fly in the happy face balloon. LOL

WOW! I know mine wouldn't.LOL But also I thought that kids had to be about 10 years old to do it anyway?

Well things are coming together on our end. Mariann found a great dress for formal night and my tux arrived and is at the tailors for alterations; due to come back at the end of April. I am about to get my FE gifts together so I guess we are just about ready. I am contemplating the wine package; I don't want to carry around a bunch of heavy wine bottles the first day. With things being busy at work and with everyone seeming more stressed this year we are really ready for this cruise to come. The first 4 months of the year always seem the most rushed to me probably because, in addition to working 5 days, I also teach a class 2 nights at the local college, kind of makes the days feel really long. The extra revenue does let us do things like this cruise however. Hope everyone has a great Easter, we are headed off to a 50th wedding celebration today and then having Easter dinner at DSIL's house, only about 13 this year as opposed to our usual 25+.

Where do you teach?
I wish my husband would be a little involved at least. He just shows up for the cruise and that's it. I enjoy the planning but some times I'd like some help.

What is everyone doing in Key West?
I have been looking at privately operated excursions through Fury, Sunset and Sebago but we arrive too late for the "all day" ones and several companies won't do parasailing from 1 - 3pm due to chance of thunderstorms...

What are you all doing in Key West? We've walked Duval Street many times; looking for something new...

We're just doing the trolley tour.

We are doing the trolley.. never been to Key West & the trolley seems like the best way to see it.

Hi, y'all. 2 nights down, 4 to go. I'm already exhausted. Hope I can stay awake for church tomorrow. Happy Easter, everyone!

That is my DD... doesn't want to plan anything in advance. We have 1 excursion planned (trolley in Key West), if possible she would probably just stay on the ship the entire time. I am constantly asking her: what about this, how about this... "WHATEVER MOM!"

Woo Hoo.. just saved $40 by checking Southwest online ~ my flight to Orlando went down $20 (from $119 to $99). Hope my return flight goes down also.

Looks like I will need to plan a vacation to use my $40 credit. Hmmm... where to go?!?!

How would I know if I have an OBC or not? I was suppose to receive one for using my DVR, called my TA, & it was told it was taken care of.

I reviewed my reservations only see the hotel & ground transfer changes.

Also, how do I know what time we will get picked up at the hotel for the port?

Hey all, just got back from Walmart and the grocery store to get some last minute stuff- whewww it's packed. Steve went out with some of his work friends, we are waiting for him to get home so we can dye eggs. Tomorrow we have church, spend time with extended family, then we are going to his cousins' house to have dinner- and off to the movies to see Monsters vs. Aliens. They have 4 boys, 2 are around Jordan's age(1 is 6 months older, 1 is 6 months younger)so she'll have a great time!! I'm already planning to be exhausted on Monday!!

You won't see the OBC till you get onboard. There will be cards in your stateroom with your OBC.

If you are at the Swan 11:45 is the pick up time and 12:00 if you are a the Dolphin.

Nice!! Ours did that a few times on our last trip. :thumbsup2

So.. since I was told I had to be in the lobby by 11:45, think we will be at Dolphin, then?

who clelbrates birthdays and anniversaries on the cruise that are not during the cruise week?
My son's birthday is May 7 and he always complains we never celebrate it at WDW or on a cruise since it is during school. Stephanie said she'd make him a magnet for our door and I wondered what everyone thinks of having a cake at dinner. My parents will celebrate their 53rd anniversary in July and I would like to celebrate this since we won't be there to celebrate with them on the day.
We are going on the cruise to celebrate my DS 14th bday, his 8th grade graduation and my 40th B-day and we are celebrating them at dinner.

Probably. If you want the Swan over the Dolphin you just have to request it. Either way we will all be on the same bus it seems. :thumbsup2

I would LOVE to do the all day package that they have. We just get in too late! Iwonder if we got a group together if they would be willing to leave a little later????
Let me know for sure if you check on this and are going to do that. We're together that day :o)
