we have used MurrayHill, Around The Clock Shuttle and Happy Limo and all were just fine!

It is less hassle then the Disney transfers!!! IMHO

Ok. So now I am thinking of changing our transfers. I have us schedule for DCL transfers but now I am thinking of changing the first leg. I want to be able to get there earlier and with less of a crowd.

I have asked a question of main board about which company is the best.

Who knows, I can't decide. :confused3

We are either doing a minivan rental or possibly a van service (Happy Limo, Ace and southern elegance are the 3 I have searched so far). We'll be staying at an area airport hotel since we come in at 11pm, so no point in staying at a disney hotel and not be able to enjoy it. We are also going back to the airport straight after the cruise. There are 5 of us. If there are any fellow cruisers staying near the airport and going back to the airport that want to share the cost of a round trip van or limo service, i would be intertested. Most offer a grocery stop (would like to maybe get some wine) when you book a roundtrip. Our return flight is at 12:10pm.:cool1:

I have heard good things about Happy Limo from alot of people on the boards. I've never used them- so don't know personally. :goodvibes I think it would be awesome to pull up in a limo.

Day of. We are going to use ME the night before to POFQ. I figure we would use DCL transfer to go back to the airport.

So I am looking for a transfer from POFQ to Port.
We are staying at POFQ the night before also. We are taking Disney Transportation from Airport to PRFQ to Port to Airport....

Anytime is fine for me long as we have enough time to get back to our staterooms for the drill:cool2: which is at 4 then the sail away party:cool1:
Promenade Lounge is a perfect SPOT!!!!!!!
What does everyone think of meeting at 3:00? :confused3
Perfect spot - Will 3:00 give us enough time to meet and get back to our room for the drill @ 4:00 or would 2:30 work better? Have we finalized how many cabins and people are participating?

I think something that first afternoon before we take off maybe in the Promerade would be good. Whatever is decided, I would be happy to add to page 1 for reference.

I don't think we've done that yet, anybody willing to organize it?;)

Heck - I don't even totally understand how the FE work yet even after reading the FE Thread. Do we get something for each cabin? Something for everyone in the cabin? Something for the DIS Meet?...HELP!!!!!

I'm organizing the FE exchange- you just hang the FE on the fish- and then I believe someone in the group puts stuff in there on a certain day. I have never been in a FE exchange either, but I'm gonna try it. LOL I will be giving something to the kids, and I think one for the whole family. That's just me- anyone can do whatever they want. I meant if anyone wanted to organize the DisMeet- that would be good- maybe we could add it to the front page.:goodvibes I can't wait to meet everyone.

Anyone trying Priceline to stay at an area hotel near the airport the night before the cruise? I just used them for a hotel in Las Vegas last month and got great rates for a 4 star hotel. I'm looking for a 2.5 star by the airport with a free shuttle and breakfast. No need for anything fancy as we are just going to crash and get up, eat breakfast and get on our way. Any priceline experts out there? :surfweb:

Yea. I think that is part of what is guiding me towards a limo vs. a van. Something on my "bucket list". My DS who is only 9 is about to have his second ride in a limo. The school does fundraisers and the children that meet a set goal in sales get a limo ride to a pizza place for lunch. I am not bitter or anything.... :rotfl:

Need Advice!!! :confused3

Has anyone flown in on the same day?? How does it work w/luggage?

I am getting :scared1: but really can't afford to cancel my current flight, re-book, & get a hotel. My flight (so far) lands in Orlando at 11:25am. I know it is an hour drive to port so that puts us at port around 1pm.

as long as theirs have the raised seal they're fine. I had to get a new one for me because I couldn't find mine. My DH was so tattered (he's 45) I wasn't sure if they'd accept it w/the passport app, but it had the raised seal and they did. So if you have the raised seal on them, don't sweat it.

Ok, NONE of them have raised seals. The new ones I just got for myself and DH have one of those strips in the paper that you can see when you hold it up to light but the children's do not. Ugggh! Maybe I can come up with $$ for passports...

Are you using DCL transfer or a private service?

I think you would be fine either way. You may need to claim your luggage and bring it with you. Actually MCO is very quick to send the luggage to the Baggage Claim Area.
