I posted this before but know there are soo many that it might have gotten lost... DCL is charging $179; 4 people & 2 ranger units for the same amount of time. It doesn't say anything about parking meters either.

Woo Hoo.. completed all my on-line check in process & waiting on cofirmation for reserving 2 seater GPS electric car in Key West. Now I just need to make ground transportation reservations but am leary since my flight has changed twice already.

Not sure how it works for those flying in the same day (always flew in the day before). Any suggestions??

i got what i wanted will be joining you wonderful people for the pirate excursion at 9:15 and i got dolphinaris for 9:30. i threw in a palo brunch at 11:00 on thursday but not sure if i will keep it.

Hey everybody! I went online this morning and booked a Palo Dinner for the last night onboard. I am going to try to get a brunch and/or tea once we get onboard. However, I have not had much luck with that in the past.

I don't have any excursions booked, I think we will try to book some things on our own rather than through Disney. I am excited to be going back!

One tour will get in the water on a platform. It is good for anyone that is not good at swimming or anyone that may be a little cautious about the dolphins. We did this first and really enjoyed it.

The swims puts you in the open water with the animals. We are doing this one this time.

Hi Beth,
DS (Ben) and DD will be doing the Dolphin Discovery at Chaankanaab. We are booking this on our own. They have a dolphin royal swim, a dolphin swim adventure, and a dolphin encounter. Taxi to the park is $15-$20 for up to 4. We are doing this with another Dis-er family too. We have not booked a time yet, so if you would like to do it with us, that would be fun! I'll pm you too about our specifics!

Is this very far from the dock? What made you decide to do it on your own rather than through DCL?

I am sort of worried about going too far in Mexico with everything on the news these days. Are you swimming too, or just the kids?

Its about 20 min cab ride. Looks like you get to do more than the DCL excursion one. I also would like to be on my own schedule at Chaakanaab park esp if the snorkeling is good. Only kids are swimming with dolphins, we adults will be photographing and videotaping. They do have vans for larger groups - they run $35-$40 (didn't say how many they hold - I'll email them).

Has anyone done the pirate scavenger hunt in Key West or the Conch Republic tour and musuem package? Is there anywhere I can find reviews on the different tours. We have cruised with DCL a lot but usually get off and just wander around so do not have much experience with the tours.

What is everyone doing in Key West?

I sent a request also for the electric cars ( the web site you had and Thanks) because I need the 6 set and on Disney to me it was clear if it would hold 4 or less? Or if there even is a choice of a 6 set one?

We are booking the Key West Trolley tour direct through them. It is $26.10 online and you get on and off privileges at any of the 12 stops. With DCL you have a non-stop tour. I like the idea of wandering a little on my own. I will have my own hand held GPS along just in case.
