You think I can lose about 60 pounds before the cruise. LOL I am definately trying- I just started my swim fit class tonight- it's 2 nights a week at the YMCA. I've just been so stressed recently about my job, and my dad passed away in late October and I've gained about 8 pounds since then- it's just been alot to deal with. At least now- I should be OK about the job, I just need to stop eating so much junk.
Each Sunday I am starting my "get in shape for the cruise" regime, and by Tues/Wed - I end up failing. And it doesn't help that Blue Bell ice cream just came to the Fort Lauderdale area (as I sit here eating a cup of banana pudding ice cream) and it's sooooo good.
DH will be working
but he'll also be just returning from an Alaska hunting trip too. DS turns 12 3 weeks prior to the cruise and is looking for friends to pm beforehand. Any other 6th graders out there? He's crushed that DD will be hanging out at the stack, and thinks he'll be bored in Ocean Quest. I've tried to tell him how cool it is. Anyone's kids been to Ocean quest and can convince him otherwise?
Last time we cruised, he was 8 and hung out with us a good bit. He played alot of bingo and the arcade which was fun for all of us. I would just like him to partake in some of the free activities this time!
I think we're going to wing it in Key West too- electric cars or the trolley.
