Can I just say how thrilled I am we picked this for our 1st cruise ever? What a fantastic group of DISers we're sailing with!

I would have to agree with you as well. This is my second DCL cruise but first one with a DIS meet.

I never imagined when I started this thread it would go so well. I am soo excited about meeting and seeing everyone around the ship.

Well, I made all of my door magnets today, and started my FE gifts!! But now Jordan isn't throwing up, but the other.... You guys know what I mean- ewww.. Poor thing, she also has a fever- not high- but around 99-101 degrees. I'm just trying to keep her hydrated, and cool.

Yuck. Poor thing. At least you have been able to work on cruise stuff. I have to get DH to get going on part of our FE gifts and our magnets. We know what we are doing and he has worked on it some.

We are actually going to get off the ship early, Take the On / Off Trolley Tour, Eat Lunch at Jimmy Buffet's, IF we have time go to Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum and then head over there. You are more than welcome to join us for the day. It would be fun!!!! I want to make the most of our time...If not we will plan a meeting time and place to head over there together.

I changed the reservation # for T-Rex on Friday night to 7. Grandma is coming right?

Anyone else wanting to join us? I can change the # again to include you - the more the merrier!!!!!!!!

We are staying at PORFQ and going to T-Rex Friday night as well, but with our current flights we will not get to T-Rex until 9 or so. I am hoping to catch an earlier flight but will not know until the day before. So we are going to have to take our chances and not make reservations. It would be neat if we see each other in passing.

Well today is a sad day for me.

I will have to cancel today because I couldn't find another cat 12 to book.

We booked our first mid December and it seemed like I was always a few minutes late or a dollar short when all the other cat 12's came up.

Today is final payment date, correct?

I have it booked for Larry and I - Yippee!!!!!!!! I love saving $ and now I'll even have a video of it.

Stepahnie - I asked them to make sure we are on the same boat- they have 3 boats that leave at 2:00 and each one holds 12. They said we we get there we just need to tell them that we are together and they will make sure that whatever 12 want to go together do. I also listed on the comments section to please place with Schwetje Party of 4.

I would love to join you guys for this but Mari only weighs 42.5 and I remember someone else on the boards saying that the kids had to be 50 pounds. I would be a group of 2.

We finally bit the bullet and went to apply for our passports today. I got tired of worrying about it so I think it will be worth the extra $$ for that reason alone.

She told us it would be about 5 weeks. (Keeping fingers crossed.)

Kind of nervous b/c they're having a big company meeting at DH's job tomorrow...last meeting wasn't great news...they cut hours. We need prayers and pixiedust.

Ok so I am so torn right now!!!!

Right now we have 2 CAT 11's booked for 5 people. I can move to a CAT 4...larger room with a verandah for all 5 people for only $300 more. We would have 1 room instead of 2 but we would have a verandah and a bigger room.

I would have to decide by tonight bc I would have to cancel one of my reservations. Ugh! I do not know what to do.

Any advice?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!

Tough call!!! Veranda is sweet! We had one last time we cruised, but I'll be honest, we weren't out there much. Of course with 5 in the room, you may want to use it often. On the other hand, 2 full rooms, 2 bathrooms including 2 toilets, 2 closets, and maybe your girls can go spend the night in grandma's cabin a night or two for you two to get some "alone time". I think I read that the cat 4 had 4 additional feet in length to accomodate the murphy bed. If that's down, will it block your access to the veranda for your midnight escapades? Of course, there is always the possibility of being upgraded from a cat 4 to a cat 3... or maybe an upgrade on your cat 11's to cat 9's. Think I may have muddied the waters even more....

Yeah- my weekends are so busy- I never get to work on hardly anything then. It takes Jordan getting sick for me to get it all done.

If it were me, I would want 2 seperate rooms, 2 bathrooms, plus alone time with your DH, maybe Grandma will keep the girls in her room one night . How comfortable is DH with having Grandma in the same room?

It would just be easier to get ready if you have 2 bathrooms for 5 people, plus how often are you really going to be in your room to enjoy the verandah? Spend that extra money on pictures .

Just my thoughts.
