So a couple of weeks ago, I started noticing that my DD5 had developed some pretty big gaps between her lower teeth. Specifically, the two middle teeth seemed to be squishing together leaving space on either side. I wondered what in the world was going on and made a mental note to call a dentist.
I could give any number of excuses as to why I never followed through with that, but the main reason is that I totally forgot. Yes, clearly I am parent of the year.
Anyway, FF to tonight when I was dressing her for bed and noticed that TWO permanent teeth are growing in the gaps, slightly behind her baby teeth.
I kind of panicked, thinking it is much too early for this to be happening, but Google put my mind at ease a bit.
So my question for you DISers, is have you ever seen this? Did the dentist pull the baby teeth or did they loosen on their own?
ETA: She *just* turned 5 on Feb. 19th.
