5th Park at WDW

Just going to start my own rumor here.

Disney is planning a 5th park for WDW, and it will be half StarWars and half Marvell.

Actually, for real, a bus driver told me the same thing the other day.

They sure are! Its going to be located next to the 6th gate that has beastly kingdom, Muppet Studios, Roger Rabbit Toontown, Fire Mountain, Bald Mountain and Horizons. =)

Actually the fith park is going to be a huge gift shop that you pass through to get to the parking lot.

You always hate to be rude to them, but its like where do you get your information from? Like one time a bus driver told us that the Astro Orbiter was closing down so they could add a bunch of new interactive elements to the stand-by line. I was like that's going to be cool....lol. I mean I almost fell bad cause they actually believe what they are saying!

I know he was like really excited and the worst part was he was from my home town and excited to talk to someone about where we are from.

I think a "5th Park" is not economically feasible for WDW. But, I think we all know that all of the non-MK parks need immediate attention.

I agree they need to work on the other three parks before thinking about a 5th park which I think most of us can agree isn't coming anytime soon.

I don't think it impossible for a 5th gate. To be honest I believe they will have one within the next 25 to 35 years. I think they realize the other parks need work to become full day destinations. For example how they are making Animal Kingdom a full day park by adding new nighttime stuff. I think once the problem with the other parks are fixed then we will see a 5th gate be built.

That stinks lol. I just smile and be interested with what they say no matter how wacky it is. I never want to be rude or disrespectful since they just transported me for free across the resort. =p

I agree AK I believe will see an attendance increase once they get the nighttime entertainment and the expansion. DHS is definitely next its losing its appeal to me they need to boost that park up if they don't announce anything in the next few years I think it may turn into the old DCA.

Believe it or not, AK is seeing a larger attendance increase already than any other park in Orlando other than Islands of Adventure.

It already is already lacking a lot. It really needs a DCA makeover for it to be a GREAT park, but it can pass if they do a good enough expansion *cough star wars land cough*. I hope they announce it and have it opened by the end of the decade.

I completely agree they need more to do there. I love TSMM but it's always an hour or more wait FP helps but once I'm done doing the few things I want to I'm like well let's go back to the hotel I guess. The whole back lot could be demolished and if it doesn't get that at least redo it and add to it. I think disney knows Star Wars is the way to go but I wish they would announce it sooner than later.

Shows like Beauty and the Beast and Indiana Jones are showing their age and LMA! is only good a couple times. I really do hope they announce Star Wars within the year, but I might be hoping for too much.

An updated great movie ride would be good too, keep something's but add some newer movies. I would like them to announce it this year for DHS's 25th anniversary but it doesn't look like its going to happen. I think disney is trying to get things together for Disneyland's 60th anniversary next year.

They wont really do ANYTHING new with StarWars until they release new StarWars movies with some "re-imagining".
