5th & FINAL weigh-in 5/10 **Mother's Day Challenge**!

Hi everyone! I'm another WISHer that started this challenge right after the April 1 challenge. My weigh in days are on Sunday. I was just going to wait and post two weeks worth of weight loss but since other's are reporting in, I will too.

I lost 2.5 pounds on this past Sunday's weigh in so that's 2.5/10. I will weigh in again this Sunday and report in what I find. I did cheat and weigh myself this morning because I'm so close to losing 50 pounds and lost another pound so I'm almost there! Hopefully, when I weigh in Sunday, I'll be snagging my 50 pound clippie.

Cograts to all on your losses. My weigh in day is Wednesday and I was down just a mere .4 pounds but that actually gave me a bit of a kick so I'm hoping to see better results next week. I was home with the kids yesterday and actually brought them out for a short walk. The front to back double stroller is 32 pounds empty plus 25 pounds of DD(1) and 35+ pounds of DS(3) is 92 pounds and after about 1/2 mile my 40 pound DD(5) says she wants to stand on the footrest between the 2 seats. So even thought it was under 2 miles it was a bit of a workout pushing 132 pounds. When we got home DD(5) says "Mommy, you forgot to go up the hill". Maybe next time.....

I am late getting started but I weighed in yesterday at 216.8. I will use that as my starting weight for this challenge & I'll set my goal at 206.8, which will be 10 lbs.
 

Congrats to all you losers! We are off to a great start. I don't weigh until Monday, but I had a great week so far. Stayed on target and am looking forward to hopping on that scale on Monday. But, I am not looking forward to Easter brunch with the family tomorrow. Yikes! All that food and I can't even have any sweets. I need all my strength for this! :rolleyes:

You're not late at all. First weigh-ins begin this Monday. Some people are just including and posting last week's loss (since the April challenge was over) and, some are waiting until this week to post that loss and, this weeks.

I only made Monday the weigh-in day because that's MY day. It will be an ongoing, day-to-day tracking tho, since people weigh-in on different days. I will go back to all these posts AFTER I weigh-in myself on Monday. ;)

NOTE TO ALL: The easiest way for me to know if I'm counting correctly will be if you post both your loss and, to write it 0/5, 2/8, 5/10....and so on, as a total. THANKS!!! :sunny:

I hope you all had a Wonderful Easter, whether OP or not! But, it's time to "fess up" and weigh-in now! (except those of you who already posted)

I'm already excited for you all! I'll be back in the AM to report my own progress. :worried:
 
I really thought I was doing good all week:mad: The end results are: down 2.5 pounds. Or for the list: 2.5/10

I just don't get it! The scale was up and down all week, I guess the end result isn't too bad, but I was hoping for more. Over the last 2 years I have foolishly given in to "I've been good but still don't lose, what is the difference" Then I go back to my old ways.

This time I refuse to give in, and will work even harder to get to my goal!

Well, I am heading in the wrong direction, I gained a pound. We went to NYC on Wednesday and I ate a few things that I should not have eaten, then my neices's birthday on Saturday and Easter on Sunday....I am actually surprised it was only a pound.
...
SO....I am back on track today, and now I have to lose 7 pounds to reach my goal.
 
Well first weigh in for the Mothers Day Challenge and I am DOWN 3.5LBS!! - I am down a total of 8.5lbs since I started ATkins at the end of March!

Me and HelenK are in the same boat. I am up a pound today too. Although, after this weekend, I understand. Sat. was a luncheon for a family member that had passed away (ham=salt) and then Easter (ham=salt)....I am sure it is mostly water.
Count me for a depressing +1/5......

I too am headed in the wrong direction, I gained 3 pounds :mad: I am hoping that a few days of being back on track and drinking tons of water will wash away all that salty Easter ham and Polish sausage! My original goal was to lose 5 pounds, now I have to loose 8 :eek: .

Congratulations to all the loosers this week! If any one else has gained like me lets just jump back on the wagon and start our downward trend!

I didn't want to get on the scale, but I did. It was time to face the music! I'm sure it is only a *temporary gain* - I was AWFUL this weekend!

but.....I'm UP 1.5....back to *work* today...this weight has GOTTA go! ::yes::
 
I maintained this week, which is just great considering how much I cheated during the week. Hopefully I'll be able to gain some ground this week.

I reported my first week's progress of 2.5 pounds lost and this past week at my weigh in I was down 1.5 pounds which gives me a total of 4/10 for the Mother's Day Challenge so far.

If you lost this week - congratulations!
If you maintained this week - that's awesome too!
If you gained this week - I know you'll do better next weigh in!

Well....

Easter pretty much did me in! I had decided to allow myself a few off plan treats (homemade bread, rice salad, chocolate) to kind of see what would happen. (we leave for vacation in 5 weeks and I was planning to allow myself some yummies while there) I haven't had anything off plan since Feb. 10th when I started SBD. Well...now I know!! I got on the scale this morning to a 4lb gain!!!! I gained back EVERYTHING I had lost last week!!! AGGGG! So put me down for 0/8 and I definately have some work to do!!

I lost .5 this week. I was hoping for more, but I am at a weight where I have been before for a long time, and my body is very comfortable here and wants to stay here and rest a spell. :rolleyes: I guess I'm just going to have to shake it up, maybe increase my exercize.

So that is .5/6. I will be gone for the next weigh-in, but will check in on Wednesday next week.

This is my first weigh in for the Mother's Day Challenge and I am down 2lbs, so that puts me a 2/10 :hyper:
 
Here is my first weigh-in 2/12

I got all my exercise in last week and thanks to an upset stomach yesterday I didn't overdo it on Easter , and I am down 2 pounds.

Just a few more until my next clippee!
