5k run in Oct?

We're going down in Nov. again, but wanted to also come down for the Universal Horror nights in Oct. I know they had a 5 or 6K run this year in Disney in Oct., and wanted to know if anyone knew if they were having one again this year? If so, do you know if they run through any of the DVC resorts, or the parks? We would stay at Universal and then over to the BWV to be closer to the race. Thanks for any info.

There is a 10K run from Epcot to Wide World of Sports, via the Boardwalk and Disney Studios on Oct 10. I think registration opens up about May 1. You can check it out on the Disney Sports website. Just click on running and marathons. It will list all the various races and triathalons going on for the year.
