This is why I have come to dread calling Disney! I have had similar problems with almost every call for the last 3 years. Back in the good old days
, 20 years ago, calling Disney was a truly magical experience. I would get off the phone and float for the entire day. They were fast, fun, kind, informational and calling there felt like the start of the vacation. Now, so many "improvements" have been made that I dread calling and wish I could change dates/cancel online and avoid them all together! 57 minutes to cancel a reservation and I didn't wait more than 5 minutes for them to answer the phone. The reason it took so long was that she couldn't find the reservation and asked me a zillion questions about it and when she did find it, the computer wouldn't take the cancellation. A supervisor had to get involved and it went on forever. I have said this before, it is so much easier to call Hilton, Marriott, etc. You are one the phone 2 or 3 minutes max. Why can't a company as wonderful as Disney fix this problem?
