Prayers going out for you now. I had a friend with this same thing, and she did lose the hearing on one side, but she is fine now. It was a slow recovery, but a good one. She had the surgery done at Mayo, and suffered a bit of facial palsy for a few months, but that too improved. Here's hoping for a quick recovery with excellent results.
