Hi...I feel your frustration...we are in Chicago and would love some warmthas well. DS begs us every year to let him do Space Camp in Huntsville (about a 10.5 hour drive)or to at least go there. It looks to me like the beaches of Pensacola are about another 4 hours drive after that. In April weather can be iffy tho, I would almost say head to AZ more than south. If you are planning to drive, it will be a haul to get to the 70's...I will be keeping an eye on this thread for myself too!
Not NC, it's about 47 degrees with a pretty cold wind. This may be warm to some of you who live up north, but I'm still cold, I had DH build a fire last night (we had a frost warning - poor little flowers).
