hi
i know it a long way off oct 2019 but i am planning a bithday party for my 50th
what i was thinking of doing is spend the day at magic kingdom and then go over to the garden grill for a character meal

does anyone else have any Surgestions?

but before then i will be going in 2015 so may have a trial run then

what about one of the tours that WDW do, like the Keys to the World or even the Steam Train behind the scenes one (I tagged along with DH but really really enjoyed it)x

For my birthday we booked JIKO's at AKL and from what I remember:rolleyes1 it was so good:rotfl:

Oh and welcome to the board..

If it's still running, I would book the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party. You could see Wishes from a nice comfortable seat with a cup of coffee/tea and some desserts.

Of course, that might interfere with your dinner plans.

there some good idea there but what this JIKO's at AKL ?

as anyone been to chef mickey ? there will be 1 kid and a teenager going too

is there anyway to get free stuff on your birthday too LOL :lmao:

i was only thinking about garden grill because we have been there twice and the food and interactment with the characters has been good

2019????
who knows if the world will even exist then!!
and i don't mean disney world, i mean the world world!!!

are you THAT anxious to be 50????????????????????????

any of the character meals are nice, if you like buffet meals..

pretty much any restaurant at WDW is nice for a birthday....it just depends on what you like to eat..

no i dont want to get to 50 but because it now cost a kings ransom to get over there i would like a guesstimate so i know what to aim for

character meals are great had to of them now at the garden grill
food was supper and plenty of it
the last time i went we got the character twice due to the camera not working first time which was very nice of them

:welcome: to the Dis

I honestly wouldn't be planning anything until around a year out - who knows what meals they will be doing by then :confused3

Start planning for 2015 by all means and just start saving if you need but don't have fixed ideas this far out as it will likely lead to disappointment.

You asked about Chef Mickeys - IMO it is very expensive for what it is and not really a good 'value' anymore - better food at other locations for less $$$

The MK Wished cruise or Epcot Illuminations cruise would be great. You can have the boat decorated for a birthday and order a cake to have on the boat too :rotfl2:

didnt think of the California Grill as you say have a meal when the firework display is on sounds a good idea

is there anywhere in epcot that you could do the same thing dine and watch the fireworks ?

if the world was coming to the end thats one place i would love to be WDW LOL :cool1:

looks a bit posh the California Grill no tracksuit bottoms lol

but price isnt to bad was expecting the price to be like $150 per person
