50's PT review

DH and I went there in 2000 and we LOVED it. I think it depends on your sense of humor and whether or not you like "50's food." DH and I love that kind of food, and we got such a kick out of the wait staff. We had somebody who just called herself Mom. It was a riot. I want to eat there in September when we go.

Boy, this place does sound like a hoot! DH & I will definately go on our next trip...:p

This sounds too funny:p . I am planning on eating here in Oct. and from the sound of it, we will have a blast.

Thanks for all the funny stories

Now I am so disappointed. :( I had a PS at PTC while we were there over Easter. My hubby was really wanting to eat at the ESPN grill, so we ended up skipping PTC. Although the food was great at ESPN, I really wish we had made it to PTC. Oh well, I know now that PTC will be a definate when we go back next year!!! As for dud servers, that happened to us at Whispering Canyon. My kids were so excited when they saw all the other kids having to get on chairs and such. My daughter couldn't wait to ask for some ketchup. Well, when she did, our server (he was new and pretty timid) just said ok and walked off. She looked so disappointed. I said, "just jump up on your chair and yell for some!" The people behind us looked upset too like they were disappointed with the server too. Luckily he came back just in time and asked her if she wanted to do it the easy way or the fun way. We ended up having a blast, but hopefully next time we'll get a better server. (sorry, didn't mean to change the subject) Thanks for the great review, now I can't wait to go back and try it!!! :Pinkbounc

Ok we are eating at prime time in June. What can I do to my fiancee with the servers help

Yep, he's the one!! We just loved him. We have our PS's waiting to be made for this Aug. We will be asking for Cousin Chris. He did the cutest 'camel train with the french fries' for my dd. He sang the "Prince Ali" song and made up his own lyrics to fit the camels going to bed theme. Toooo funny!

Great place! We love the antics and the food! Don't miss the S'mores for dessert.

We loved it here too. The S'mores were the best (the kids ordered them but my husband and I gladly joined in). It is such a different experience at this restaurant that it really makes it a lot of fun.

We were there two weeks ago and had Auntie Susan. She was terrific. This is the first time we've been given homework while we waited for our food (an analytically unsolvable story problem, ughh). The next table had to come up with the eight U.S. presidents with one-syllable names. Another table had to recite the eleven one-word title Disney films.

The malted shakes are excellent. The portions seem quite large to us, especially for lunch, and we usually split something. I strongly recommend having reservations.

Definitely ask for Auntie Claire. We have gone back three times and have asked for her each time. In fact our pix are in her photo album.

I think she only works weekdays lunch time.

If you meet Auntie Claire tell her that her "Little Angel Katie" from Pennsylvania says hello. (that's my DD)

We'll be visiting her in June.

By the way--I'd order the pot roast;)
