Whats the best food to order there for dinner? We have an ADR and I have no clue whats good to eat. Thanks.

Another vote for the fried chicken - really good, and so much of it that it's plenty to share between 2 if you're not huge eaters, making it one of the cheapest meals on property!

I had the pot roast and didn't care for it (it was smothered in carrots & onions). I wish I had gotten the fried chicken after seeing pics of it. My biggest recommendation though is to get the fried herb cheese appetizer. It was my favorite thing I ate all week! I was kind of glad I didn't like the pot roast so I could just eat my appetizer until it was gone. Good desserts too!

Last time I went we went for lunch, infact everytime Ive ever been, its been for lunch. I highly recomend Uncle Tims Summer Breeze. It was really good. Just remember on a hot day to drink lots of water if you decide to take the boat from MGM to Epcot and sit outside... :guilty: Yah I felt pretty nasty but once I got some water I was fine. :earboy2:

But the best grilled chicken sandwhich ever is at the Prime Time and its the

Char-grilled Chicken Sandwich - spice-rubbed chicken breast grilled and topped with maple-glazed bacon, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and creamy peppercorn sauce on a Kaiser roll, with French fries

YUMMY

I love the meatloaf and DW loves the pot roast. Their chicken noodle soup is a great appetizer.

However, beware ordering Dad's Super Sundae -- it is rather large and covered with nuts, M&M's, Cracker Jack among other toppings. It may be great to share, but it's way too much dessert for one person to tackle alone. (I speak from experience! )

I've shared the fried cheese appetizer and the fried chicken meal with a
friend at lunchtime. You can never go wrong with the fried chicken, IMHO.

3 questions:

1) How many pieces of chicken do you get and what parts (legs, breast, etc)?

2) Has anyone on the Dining Plan recently been here and split a meal? I know there's been some crackdowns on people on the Dining Plan splitting a meal and only using the one credit. I'm hoping that my sis and I will be able to share one meal here. If not, oh, well, that's why we bought the plan, right? :rotfl:

3) Is the fried herb cheese appetizer similar to fried mozzarella sticks? I'm trying to picture what it's like.

I can only answer for the fried cheese dish. It looks like a giant cheese ball (no sticks). At first I thought "What is this?" but then I stuck a fork in it and the softest yummiest cheese came out. It is served with 2 large toasted french bread pieces and lots of grapes. It was a meal all by itself. I was full after eating it. I think they would be good about you sharing. They were very accomodating to us. We got our dessert (pb & j shakes) in "to go" cups because we didn't want to miss the parade. Next time, I plan on sharing the chicken & fried cheese with DH and getting my dessert to go.
In fact, if you like the cheese dish, compliment the chef. I did and he gave me a whole other one to take home with me! :cloud9:

You get 3 pieces - I believe it's a breast, a thigh, and either a leg or a wing.

Well, that might not be a bad deal. One could have the breast and the other the2 smaller pieces. Split the appetizer and split the dessert (either the smores or a sundae), and we would probably be plenty full!

Thanks!

That's exactly how we've done it several times - we usually share some onion rings or maybe the smoked seafood dip, share the chicken, and honestly we're usually too full for dessert after that. We tell the server we're sharing the chicken, and the kitchen almost always splits it onto 2 plates, with plenty of potatoes and green beans on each.

Has anyone had the seafood primavera? I was wondering what "garden vegetables" are included...

I love the pot roast and am a big eater and it is enough for 2. I do ask for green beans when I order, don't like carrots and I did try to hide them and got caught. Shame on me.
