Has 50s Prime time started charging a reservation fee? I don't find them on the lists anywhere as a restaurant that does this, but the ADR I just made for Monday night says "Advance Payment Received." The Disney website, in typical Disney fashion, is very vague about the restaurants that charge a reservation fee. Can anyone clarify this for me?

I made a reservation for 50s prime time a few days ago using the new disney experience app and I wasn't charged anything

I used the Disney Dining Reservation website. I wondered if maybe it glitched and signed us up for a Fantasmic Dinner package, but at 8:40pm? I checked my "My Disney Experience" account and it shows that I have a regular reservation, not a Fantasmic Dinner package or anything. I just want to know what the "Advance Payment Received" relates to.

The Fantasmic is for Hollywood and vine, we made reservations last week for dinner at 50's and no credit card was required.

Yes, it is the strangest thing. It never asked me for a credit card, just came through saying "Advanced Payment Received." I thought maybe because I booked a room through Disney and have my room and dining reservations linked at "My Disney Experience" that they grabbed my credit card from the hotel ressie (I didn't link a cc when I did online check-in).

It's weird. I think I'll call them after work today- if I have an extra hour to be "on hold" at Disney.

we are staying at Port of Orleans and on the dining plan and do not have a CC linked, but I never received that message

The website has mulitple problems.

If you didn't enter a credit card for that particular reservation, you won't be charged for anything about it. They do NOT take your credit card number from your hotel reservation.

There are no restaurants that charge a "reservation fee." There are four that you have to pay for in full when you book (CRT and the dinner shows). There are 20 that you have to leave a credit card number in case you don't show up for the reservation. 50s Prime Time is not one of those. You are not charged to just make a reservation.
