50's Prime Time or Spoodles ?

So I'm trying to get other people's opinions. Me and DS (age 6) will be spending Wednesday, May 30th at MGM Studios. I have reservations at both Spoodles at the boardwalk and 50's prime time.. which one do you all prefer and why ? Both menus have stuff on them that he'd eat. We ate at spoodles two years ago and had a great time. and wondering if going over there to take a little break on the boardwalk would be fun for him. So opinions would be greatly appreciated please..

We have eaten at Spoodles and do not care for it much.....

We love the 50's Prime Time, the food is very good and we like the "act" and the kitschy decor

One is classic food and the other is Italian, both are great! I think 50's PT would be more fun than Spoodles. They have fun antics that make you mind your manners! Last time I was there, I didn't eat all my green beans and the waiter feed them to me! The kids thought that was hilarious! They also have the best fried chicken in WDW!

I think your 6 year old would really like 50's. It's one of the first ADR's I make each trip. Even if you don't have a really fun server, it's still entertaining to watch what's going on at the other tables around you.

We didn't care for Spoodles last year. The atmosphere is pleasant, but the menu selection leaves a lot to be desired, in my opinion...

I am a Spoodles girl... I went to Prime Time once, just did not like the whole eat your peas or else thing.. People love it though and it is good comfort food. I just love the atmosphere at Spoodles and think the food is very good there..

We've eaten at both, although only discovered Spoodles during our last trip. We all loved it, and it's hard to find something that we all agree on! We had dinner, then spent the evening strolling the Boardwalk, watching the performers, and riding one of those bikes. Probably the best night of the trip.

In my opinion, 50'sPTC has gone down in both service and food. We always loved it for the food and the antics "performed" by the waitstaff. Unfortunately the last few times we've been there the waitstaff has seemed almost "forced" into the scenario.

I vote Spoodles.

We haven't tried Spoodles yet, but we have an ADR there in August. We've been to 50's a number of times and we used to really enjoy it. However, the last time we went (Dec. '06) we felt the food quality had really declined and we also had a waiter that definitely wasn't 'into' his role. It was a shame because it used to be one of our favourites. I had hoped it was only a fluke, or an 'off' night, but lately I've been reading enough comments from others expressing the same opinion that I'm convinced it really has slipped. It's now off our list.
