50's Prime Time or Sci-Fi Dine Inn? Vote

Hello,
We will have the DDP for our October trip and we have Sci-Fi booked. But wondering if 50's PT will be better. I know the food is probably better, right? We have never been to Sci-Fi but have been to 50's PT in March and we liked it. Not what I would call a must do every trip though. What do you think? Please vote

We like the food at both places. We are a family of four and prefer to eat at 50's primetime, so we can look at each other while we dine. I am also portly petite, and feel really cramped in the cars. Have fun!

We love both! I voted for Sci Fi though. My kids love the dumb B movies. We also love the burgers and onion rings!

We're partial to Sci Fi. We don't particularly like things like pot roast or meatloaf (although the fried chicken was great) so Prime Time doesn't work that well for us. As far as fun, Prime Time is hit or miss. It depends on your server. The last time we went, we had a boring server, so it was more like a regular restaurant. Sci Fi is always fun!

I love them both and couldn't possibly choose. Every trip we go to both places. They each have their own sort of fun and atmosphere.

We love the SCi-Fi. Not the food so much - even though it is certainly good food. We love the atmosphere. Our kids (15,11,9) love it there. With a family of 5 it's a little weird. We sit in a 3 row car and one of us has to sit alone - you'd think they would come up with something better for families but ....

It is dark, read the menu in the light while you wait for your table.

My family and I have had lunch two times at Prime Time Cafe, so I would go with them since their food was amazing.

We have done both many times. We enjoy the food much better at 50's PT. We go to Sci-Fi because DS likes the atmosphere.

I like Sci Fi's theme better but 50's food is much better.

We have been to both but only have an ADR this time for 50's Prime Time because there doesn't seem to be a whole heck of alot on the Sci Fi menu this time around.

We just did both of them and I must say I was not impressed with 50's Prime Time

I had the Onion rings, Chicken Pie and Smores and found that both of them were nasty! Nothing like the pictures that had me excited about them. Now the interaction was great

Sci-Fi however the food there was wonderful! I had spinach artichoke dip, some type of chicken sandwich (sorry I can't remember now what it was called) with onion rings and the cheesecake for dessert. All of which I really enjoyed. Plus the kids loved eating in a car and watching the movie

So my vote is completely for Sci-Fi!

i usually do both in a trip, Sci Fi for lunch and 50's for dinner.
They Sci Fi movie hasn't changed in the last 10 years so I am a little tired of it. If it is your first time you will love the movie.

Ditto. We really liked the whole dining-in-the-car thing at Sci-Fi, but DH was not a fan of the food. I liked the food in both places, so I personally couldn't choose between the two...if we had time, I'd prefer to do both. If I *had* to pick, I'd say Sci-Fi. DH would say 50's. DS7 & DS5 would say Sci-Fi.

kaysmommie, thanks for starting this thread. We are heading to Disney in March09, and since I have never been to either, I have been trying to decide which my 6 yr old grandson will like better, as well as the 5 adults in the party. This is helping, so thanks!
