Hi All,

My Dd's choice of a restaurant is the 50's Prime Time. She is a big fan of the "50's Style" - one of her favorite movies is "Blast from the Past" - I would love to be able to get one of the "kitchen" tables - to help with this I made our ADR's for 11:00 lunch. Do any of you have advice on how to make sure that we get one of those tables? Show up half an hour early? Call the restaurant the day before? This would be true pixie dust for her. :cutie:

Thank you!

The dining area of PTC is all decorated the same. Just different sized table and configurations. It's all a kitchen like setting from the 50's. You may want to look at allears.net. There's one picture of the interior of the PTC which shows a little about what I mean.

I hope you love PTC as much as we do:goodvibes

I agree - all the tables are the same in style/appearance - they are all like 50s kitchen sets. Some seating areas though have a TV built in, with shelves- we've sat in one of those a few times. You can always ask the waitress if you want to sit there - an 11:00 reservation might not be bad for that, since that's early.

Thank you both for your help with this. I've never been there, but just by the photos I've seen, I thought she would really enjoy the "pink kitchen" - keeping my fingers crossed!

All the tables have the 50's feel to them. It won't matter where you sit.

I think you picked a good time to go. The wait staff will be fresh and ready to perform.

Don't sweat a thing...you picked a good time and place.

Yes, I'm guessing that you mean a table with a TV at the end and cabinets.

Coolest thing when we went the first time - they had MY kitchen canisters that I took from my mother who bought them in 1960! They are old wooden with chickens on them. We were seated at that table and it was the coolest thing. I have a recipe box and cookie canister that they don't have, so I was thinking of giving it to them to complete the set. A lot of the stuff in there is obviously authentic, not just props. Very cool - I'm sure your DD will enjoy it all.

When you check in for your res. jusr ask them for what you want and maybe you will get licky:dance3:

I just made an AdR the other night for our Sept trip and am really excited. My friend tried this place last week while down there and got "yelled at" for spilling her milkshake and not finishing her veggies, cracked me up!!

If I recall not every table has a TC on it and that might be the most fun for your daughter. All the tables are the same style with the same type of chairs...almost like a mix and match. You may want to ask when you check in at the restaurant if you can be seated at a table with a TV. You may get some "fun" flack about it as that's the whole fun of PTC...but there's no harm in asking...

First time we went there they gave us a table and the formica was exactly like our kitchen at home (since been replaced.)
