We are set to eat there on Feb. 9th, and I booked my ADR months ago. Now I read on a post it will be closed??
Does no one call you? I guess they'd have a lot of people to call, but still.
Now where do we eat???

Help! What do you all like on a MGM day?

We like Sci-Fi, though I'm a bit disappointed they did away with the BBQ chicken sandwich that I usually get. The food is good but not spectacular, but the atmosphere is really cool!

OK, called and spoke with disney dining, and they have no indication it will be closed for refurbishment.
Thanks!

I heard it will be closed for refurb Jan. 20th to February 2nd. I think it was from a allearsnet newsletter a while back.

i also have a ressie for the time period it said it will be closed and I called and they said no it will not be. I said ok. The guy asked 3 different people.

So it will be open? Yikes....we have ressies at Sci Fi, made them partially based on the info we read stating Prime Time would be closed.....hmmmmm

Yes, I called and she assured me there is no closure set.
Still makes me a little scared though, sometimes I'm not so sure how well they know there info.

Thank you for this thread. I had wanted to go to 50's Primetime Cafe while we were there, but saw it would be closed so I didn't even try for reservations. I was bummed because we had a server who wasn't into last time and was hoping for a better experience this time (plus the smores were really yummy!)

I just called and made ADRs for Jan 24 - the lady told me there were no scheduled closures for it at all.

Same here. I, too, really wanted to try it, but booked Hollywood & Vine because of the rumored closure. Today I called and was assured it, in fact, is NOT scheduled to be closed. So I was able to get a reservation on January 26th at the time I wanted.
