50lb + Clippie Club

How's everyone doing. Just popped in to update my clippie - yeehaa!!!!

Only got 17lbs until goal now, so popped back into induction for that little extra boost and it worked - lost 3lbs this week. probably water weight as I have been letting the water slip a little, only drinking about 6 glasses a day instead of 8 (tut tut)

Anyway, I start University next week, so now doubt all the rushing around, worrying, forgetting mealtimes(try not to - promise) will boost my metabolism as well.

Going to start planning my plan of attack(snack attacks that is) this weekend - ie what to take in my lunchbox in case I get attacks of the munchies. And if anyone suggests cheese sticks or devilled eggs, I may well scream - NO MORE!!!!! I am getting heartily sick of cheese and eggs. Have been experimenting making a kind of pate with brie, mayo and cranberries - YUM!! Thoroughly recommend smoked salmon pate at only about 2g/100g - yummy on a 3g crispbread with loads of unsalted butter and black pepper. It's good as a dip woth celery as well.

So what's everyone else been up to?? And snack suggestions welcome.
 
Elise, you're doing such a great job!!!

Look at you, planning ahead. :D There's just no stopping you now. Between school and taking care of the kiddo, it would be really easy to let the weight creep back on. (Been there.:rolleyes: ) But with your planning and determination, you've got this under control!!

The smoked salmon sounds like a yummy snack. I'm having a bit of trouble imagining the brie, mayo and cranberries, though.

Planning ahead is such a good thing to do, Elise! Weigh to go! Having a plan, organizing myself, and doing the best that I can is what I've been up to. (My best hasn't been the best this week. :() Still, I shall persevere. :) I think that I will have salmon right now. I always feel better when I eat the fish. :smooth:

Having time to skim the board is hard, posting even harder, but it is with the support of WISH that I got where I am. So I try to do a bit when I can.

Remember to drink your water everyone! And make the choices that make a difference. Park a little further in the parking lot, walk up the stairs, and stay focused on your successes!

I don't drive - hence I now can't do up an old pair of boots - calves are just too big - and it's muscle!!!!

Also my Uni has 8 floors - my classes are all on the 6th floor and students aren't allowed to use the elevator!!! AAAAGH!! Oh well I guess I'll get used to it. After all I can now beat Colin up the stairs to his 2nd floor flat - running flat out!

And remember to do funstuff as well. I was climbing trees in the park with Zach this weekend, trying to show his best mate how to do it! And I was wearing 4 inch wedges at the time - Danny was strapped into his buggy laughing his head off at me dangling upside down from a branch. It is so great to be able to do that sort of thing again:D
