Hi all,
Firstly we never ment to cause any upset at all by our posting earlyer on this board. We are a christian family and we just thought it would be nice to meet up with a like minded family whilst on our holiday of a life time.(for us) in Disney world. However as we are a real Scottish family we are welcoming to ALL. Andrena and I and the kids would be delighted to meat anyone and to share some time with at the Disney Parks (well within reason!!) As first timers to Disney we will be the family looking rather peely wally!! (ie pale and fair skinned due to the lack of decent sunshine in Scotland) and lost spending most of our time going wal! taking it all in. We therefore would appreciate any friendly and welcoming Americans or come to think of it any nationality to assist us.
We were astounded that the interest and debate we have started when all we wanted to do was to meet up with a like minded family.
As for ourselves I am a manger of a learning disability home care sevice supporting people with a learning disability to live in their own homes in the community. I am an avid football (soccer) fan of Rangers football club. My wife is a nurse working on our local hospital. Abigail 8 is rather shy but would appreciate meeting children of her own age and Adam who will have his 6th birthday on the 30th of May (Memorial Day)(Any ideas what to do for his birthday?) is a young man full of energy with a fantastic smile (just like his dad!!) We are staying at the Bahama Bay Resort in Davenport near Kissimee which by all accounts looks great.
We hope that ALL that go to Disney on holiday this year have a great time and if you are in the Parks over May 20th to 3rd June say high to us we will be wearing something Scottish ie T-shirts with our national flag on it.
God Bless ALL
