50 year celebration

Has anyone heard when the ending date of the 50 year celebration is?Everything i have seen says 18 months which would be oct. Everyone on here is saying sept. But if it is sept is it beginning or end or oct. which is what 18 months would be? Help. I might plan a trip for sept 2006 but want to go when the celebration is still going on.

I thought I had read somewhere it ended mid-November I'm sure someone will have a definitive answer though. Good luck
