In 50 days - DH, DD (7) and I arrive at the Poly for our 10th Anniversary vacation. I am having trouble handling the wait... it is 50 long days. 50 days of secretly planning (DD has no idea - and won't know until we wake her up on departure day), 50 days of checking out the Disboards, 50 days of reviewing touring plans, dining reservations, packing lists, triple checking guide books, checking the DVR for any recorded Disney travel shows. But now it is ONLY 50 days - so I thought maybe my fellow Disers could offer me some help... a list of 50 (or more) unique things to look forward to at the Poly (have always wanted to stay here and this is the first time!).

#1 - sitting in a hammock on the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon with a cocktail, my hubbie, my little girl and the castle in the distance

Who has #2?

#3 Drinking great coffee from the Kona Coffee Stand while waiting for the monrail to the MK.:thumbsup2

#7 Sitting in the lounge (can't remember the name) having a drink, listening to Hawaiian music while wating to be seated for dinner.

#8 Enjoying the magic of the Electrical Water Pageant at 9pm.:wizard:

That would be the Tambu Lounge. :goodvibes

#9 Walking the pathways at night with the tiki toches lighting your way.

Funny. We'll be there in 49 days celebrating our 10th anniversary and our DS (6-1/2) will be with us. Maybe we should meet up at the Volcano pool and let the kids have a playdate, LOL.:cool2:

#11 Riding the MK boat in the evening around the hotel loop just for the fun of it, very nice! :cloud9:

13 Watching EWP from your balcony.
14 Watching DS and DD dance to the live music in the tambu lounge while mom drinks a pina colada

15??

#15. Enjoying Tonga Toast at Kona Cafe.:goodvibes

#16:

Swimming in the volcano pool while watching the fireworks over the castle.

#17:

Being at the Magic Kingdom and looking over towards the lagoon and seeing YOUR resort...so close...so quick and easy to get to... and deciding whether you feel like taking the monorail or the boat... such a dilemma! LOL :thumbsup2

# 18 Enjoying Chef Dick's creations in Hawaii.
