50 cards I made

Some of these were posted in the Calligraphy cart thread, but here are all the cards I made for my Grandma for her Christmas present. And the good thing, all the paper I used were from my paper scraps! I did buy the cards & envelopes, instead of making my own.

How long did it take to make them all?

They look great. I hope you don't mind if I lift a few.

They took about a week to make. I'm sure others could make them faster, but I stress over paper, ribbon, what cricut carts to use. I made 17 yesterday, that was a record. Other days, 3-5.

And they have stuff inside too. I found verses online, and then printed them on vellum and then matted with either silver, metallic cardstock, or some colored cardstock.

And lift away!

I made her cards last year too. I talked to her tonight, because I got the box she sent me, and I told her I was sending her present tomorrow. She got into her "I don't need anything, I hope you didn't do too much," spiel. I told her it was homemade, so I think it's okay. Then she went into how much she loved her cards from last year, and which ones she used the most. So I know they will be appreciated. Now, I also put in a gift card for one of her favorite restaurants, and I'm sure I will get an earful for that. She forgets that even though my cousins are usually stretched thin, and have kids to put first, I only have to shop for DH, my parents and her.

Hope, those are amazing!! I have a really crazy question. Where do you buy the cards and the envelopes? I'm hoping to make some of these for people for Christmas gifts for next year.

Wowzer Hope they are all so beautiful. What a great gift. I think those are the best gifts that are homemade. While I love them all, I think the ones of the characters peeking over the edge are my favorites!!!
