We will be going to Universal for the first time next summer. The rooms at RPR say they sleep 5 but then I read somewhere that you have to pay $25 extra for a roll away. So in comparing prices for RPR and HRH, should I add $25 on to the rate I get quoted on line for RPR? But HRH has a pullout bed in each room, right? So I wouldn't have to pay for a roll away there, right?

Only the deluxe rooms at HRH have the pullout sofa. If you got the standard room you would still need the rollaway. We went to RPR in June with 5 and brought our own aerobed. It worked out fine and we didn't have to pay the rollaway fee. I got an elevated twin aerobed online for 39.99$. So that saved us some, and I think it was more comfy that the rollaway as well. Housekeeping also brought bedding and made it up every day. Be advised , the rooms aren't big, and with 5 its pretty crowded, but we didnt spend our time in the room anyway. The pool is too cool!

Thank you- I started wondering last night if I could just bring an air bed.

$39.99 for an aerobed is a great price. Do you remember where online you found it?

Don't the deluxe rooms at PBH also have a sofa sleeper? I reserved there since I didn't want to rely on a rollaway being availabe or bring an aerobed. Now I'm wondering if I goofed. :confused3

I didnt mean to confuse you, I meant that only the deluxe rooms at HRH had a pullout sofa...the regular rooms at HRH do not. I didnt mean that PBH didnt have pullouts.

Yes, that is $25 per night...
If your kids are small enough, we used the pump-up mattress/sleeping bag combo for kids from Target. There is a Dora one, a Cinderella one and I'm sure one for boys (have girls, so not sure the character for boys).
It is 19.99. It comes in a small bag that has a carry handle on it and works perfectly. It is very convenient to use and carry.

We spent 8 days at RPR with a family of 5. We didn't feel that the room was too small...
