What I do with coupons like this is hand them the $5 off $20 coupon and then give them the manufacturers coupons after they scan the $5 off . Hope that makes sense. It has worked so far for me

Based on previous coupons, it varies by location.

In my area, it has to be $20 AFTER WALGREENS coupons/discounts. But it can get lower after MANUFACTURER's coupons.

It doesn't matter the ORDER you give the coupons in this case, even if you give them the $5 coupon first, if you go under $20 after Wag coupons, the register will AUTOMATICALLY add the $5 back on. The first time I tried to use one of these a few months ago, I had a cashier try and try to get the $5 to come off, but the computer automatically was subtracting it.

Also, its YMMV depending on cashier, manager, district manager, etc. Sometimes they make up their own rules.

I was able to save... 12.00 with coupons and the 5.00 coupon- actually it was more as I BOGO'd Chips and Laundry Soap
They had a dozen eggs for 1.00!! you had to buy 3 dozen but with making deviled eggs and Potato salad for Memorial day and they don't expire till june 20 so that was a deal for me!
I was on a roll so I headed to Publix and spent 32.00 but between BOGO's and coupons from the happy red machines and specials..
I spent 32.00 and saved 30.00! I also followed my list 100%!
I was a Budget master today!
