oh wise ones of Dis Cruise Forum, help me choose. On my 5 night European cruise I know I will repeat 2 restaurants and only have 1 experience at the third. I want to put in a request to repeat one restaurant, so that I have a better chance of repeating it, then if I just left it to chance and let Disney assign me a particular rotation.

While I am planning and researching like crazy, some things I like to experience without knowing beforehand. In this instance, I know I can look at menus online but I don't want to. I want to keep that for when I am actually in each restaurant.

Oh and about food choices, I don't eat fish or shellfish, other than that I can be quite adventurous with food and trying new flavours and combinations.

To me, Rapunzel as it has the best theming and best entertainment is the one to repeat. The thugs are hilarious, the scene with ***SPOILER*** is beautiful :P
I didn't care for the PIrate night menu, but that will be the same in all restaurants.. I think, as you are from Europe, Lumieres will be the least interesting as it's a quite standard list of French dishes you probably have had before.

Not really sure what you're asking, but I'd ask for either Rapunzel's or Lumiere's twice. AP is really noisy.

I'd say just let the mouse decide. We were very tired after most port days in Europe and ended up eating at Cabana's a couple of nights anyway.

oops should have put that as an option, lol, I'm not doing long port days, most days I will probably only spend 3 or 4 hours off the ship, exploring on my own, and not doing any port excursions. For me the cruise is more about experiencing the ship, than see the ports / countries

Another vote for Rapunzels! There is so much to look at that you want 2 nts there! If you can find out what a rotation is for the 5 nt, you may want to request Rapunzels for night 2. It can be difficult having Rapunzels on night 1 as they have a show in Rapunzels on your first night there. It's difficult to talk with your servers that first night since there is so much going on. (We had requested Rapunzels as the start of our rotation to be in there 4x on our 7 nt cruise...3 nts and the last breakfast. The servers really didn't like starting in that room, even with the fact that on a 7 nt the show is split up into 2 nts. With a 5 nt, the show will just be 1 nt.)

I also wanted to add that the menu will be different every night, no matter how many times you're in a particular MDR!

aha, thats what I was wondering, so if I request Rapunzels to be repeated, then I get 1 show and 1 just a meal. thanks for that :)

They are very different and it would really depend on what you want from your dining experience. We have done 3 7-nighters on the magic and our children enjoy animators most (my daughter says it’s her favorite ever restaurant). Lumieres is the fancier of the 3 options, and best if you are wanting a quieter meal. There was a lot going on at Rapunzels on both nights, I’ve forgotten what we even had to eat. The focus is more on the show, than relaxing with dinner.

Can things like this be requested online (first night restaurant, for example) or do you have to call?
