5 Night Deal For 435.00 ???

That is the example they give...the free dining applies to any package with certain restrictions. Look for the posts on free dining.

It looks like that's $435.00 per person. I priced out a 5 nigt stay at ASM for $878.92 total that included a 6 day ticket(no hopping) and free dining for 9/17-9/22.

So basically it's just another way of saying it's the free dining plan. Which is a pretty good deal. I'm going in September because of it. You pay full rack rate for the hotel but you do get the meal plan added on at no charge.

you don't have to get a park ticket for each day. If you already have a ticket or annual pass you can use that. You do have to buy at least a one day ticket to get the free dining.

I dunno, I just never stayed a short time so I am used to AP and a 10 day deal... hmmmm

You don't have to stay such a short time. We are staying 8 nights on free dining. Our package:

8 nights at ASMu
Free dining
2 one day, one park pass (minimum for package)
2 roundtrip nonstop tickets on AirTran
= $1190

I think there is a maxinum stay and it is 10 days but I could be wrong. I put in the 2 different months on the Disney web site by mistake and I believe that little error post came up but if dealing CR there may be a way to override it.

Yeah, that's what it says on the site: Free Dining, and then they give that number to make it look more inticing. That's a value resort, no park hopping- so the cheapest number they could quote for free dining.

This is the same as the free dining but you can stay at whatever resort you want (not just a value) for up to 10 days, minimum of 3, must buy at least a 1 day pass.

We're going for 7 nights at POR w/ free dining and park hoppers. ADR's are already booked and 3 weeks ago they were filling up fast. If you're planning on doing this- resorts are filling up too (there are a certain amt of rooms available for free dining) so you should call soon if you make the decision.

How can I get the package without tickets? i.e. I'm an Annual Passholder...

You can't. What makes a 'package' is the combination of room reservation AND park pass/es.
What many people with existing tickets do is purchase a one-day base pass for each person on the reservation. These passes can be applied in full at some future point toward the purchase of upgraded passes, one per pass.
