For me:

1.Snow White's Adventures - Much maligned ride, but I love it. Has the character and charm of a classic Disney attraction.

2.El Rio Del Tiempo - It's all but gone, but again, a classic in the Epcot tradition.

3.TTA - The dialogue on this ride is humorous and memorable. A great way to relax when you're tired.

4.Enchanted Tiki Room - Even with the changes, it gets overlooked quite often. Has a great Disnry feel to it though.

5.Spaceship Earth - With Mission:Space, Soarin' and Test Track, it gets overlooked, but it's an amazing ride.

The thrill seeker mentality has relegated these attractions to 2nd class status...

1. Carousel of Progress
2. Hall of Presidents
3. American Adventure
4. TTA
5. Tiki Room

Having first gone to WDW as a kid in the early 70's, nostalgia plays a big part in my opinion. At that time, the attractions I listed above(except for American Adventure) were major attractions. When we rode CoP last week, there were maybe 10 other people on it with us. Very sad.

I agree that many of the attractions mentioned above are usually not crowded; that's an advantage methinks, because those of us who like the more unpopular things can usually enjoy them without the crowds that the headliners attract.

And sometimes I just don't see the attraction's pull. For example, many people would rank Winnie the Pooh as a better ride than the Figment ride in Epcot. (The former usually has much longer lines, and even has a fastpass attached.) But as far as I can see, the Figment ride has more to it, and is a somewhat better ride.

But to each his own.

Enjoy.

IMHO

1. Enchanted Tiki Room (my favorite)
2. Carousel of Progress (my dh's favorite) We're afraid it's hanging on by a thread!
3. TTA
4. American Adventure
5. Enchanted Tiki Room (see no. 1)
::lmao:

Right? Less crowded and still fun! Mine would be:

1) Impressions of France

2) TTA

3) Carousel of Progress

4) both animal trails at AK (people race thru these as if they're giving out Hoodsies at the end!)

5) The AFI props and memorabilia at the end of the Backot Tour ride (you can enter this area without going on the ride)

Going for first time as a family next month and I'm happy to see that I've got all these rides scheduled! But what's TTA?

I can only think of two. :>

1: TTA, one of my favorite rides!
2: Swiss Family Treehouse. It's the only time I don't mind walking up steps.

For my list:

1) Hall of Presidents
2) The gardens in England & Japan
3) The 2 animal paths
4) And if you kids need a break at MK -- Tom Sawyer Island

2 of my favs are Spaceship Earth and CoP. There are so many mentioned that in all our trips we have not tried! This coming trip I am going to try and do most of the atractions we have never done. Like the ones mentioned, TTA, Hall of Presidents, and Tom Sawyer Island.

I must second TTA and Carosel of Progress!

They are perfect "take a break" attractions! My parents loved them on our last trip and didn't know they existed. I think they are very underrated.

1. TTA - is truly one of my favorites! And people dont' realize that if there is a problem with Space Mt. and you ride TTA, you can often see Space Mt. with the lights on! Very cool indeed!

2. American Adventure - we must see this at least 3-4 times per vacation, its so fabulous! Plus, if it starts to rain before you go in for the show, the rain has usually stopped by the time you exit!

3. Spaceship Earth - even though its changed 'slightly' over the years, its still an Epcot classic!

4. Train at MK - just for nostalgia, its so cute! The first year we went to WDW was the year they had "Mickey's Birthdayland" where "Toontown" is now and the train had the most catchy tune - "we're going, we're going on the express, we're going on Mickey's Birthdayland express..." How I wish I could find a sound file for that...

5. Reflections of China - well this is because I have been studying the Chinese language the last several years and it is such an interesting movie showing various aspects of the culture.

2. American Adventure - we must see this at least 3-4 times per vacation, its so fabulous! Plus, if it starts to rain before you go in for the show, the rain has usually stopped by the time you exit!

Am I the only one who tears up in this attraction when they show the pictures from our history including the Challenger disaster? Luckily no one is paying attention to me so no one sees me!

You're not alone! I cry everytime I see that montage at the end.

My top 5 underrated:

1. Spaceship Earth. A lot of people think it's boring, I LOVE it.
2. Living With the Land...I think this is such a cool, little ride.
3. TTA...paging Mr. Morrow, Mr. Tom Morrow...'nuff said :teeth:
4. Carousel Of Progress...cause there really is a great, big, beautiful tomorrow shining at the end of everyday :thumbsup2
5. The American Adventure...a really great, condensed re-telling of our country's history...and the animatronics are too cool!

I cry too, but not as much from the pictures, but more from the music. Too many Americans take their freedom for granted, but I for one truly appreciate it (hence my screen-name is freepixie). I am happy too that nobody really notices b/c you are in the dark theater and you can cry as much as you want and nobody pays any attention!

Nope...I do too...just thinking of the Challenger still chokes me up. I was in the 2nd grade when I watched it explode along with my whole class. :sad1: I have a picture from my honeymoon last August next to the quote from Christa McAuliffe, outside of Mission:Space. I tried to just smile but tears were streaming down my face. She was my hero. Still is.

So I'm with ya on the tears!!! ACK...seriously just made myself cry. :sad2:

My other all time favorite but totally underrated attractions are:

1.Carousel of Progress...I LOVE that ride. Love the song!!! My step kids know it by heart!!:rotfl: I actually fell asleep on it last year. I got a nice 20-ish minute nap and felt totally refreshed. Then we hopped right back on cuz I didn't want to actually MISS the ride!!!:cool1:

2.Snow White: sort of SCARY in a cool old school way!!!

3.Spaceship Earth...how cool is it to go inside the geodesic (sp?) sphere?! It ROCKS!!!

1. Tiki Room
2. Primeval Whirl (Kids and I loved it!)
3. Hall of Presidents (My mom's favorite Disney attraction)
4. Art of Animation attraction at MGM
5. Innoventions

TTA is one of our favorites. We use it to relax our feet for a few minutes and good time to re-apply suntan lotion. :)
:woohoo:
