Just 5 more days of work and I head to the fort. This week is going to drag.

We leave Friday morning early. I know we will probably arrive too early but I plan on stopping for breakfast in Daytona area and that should put us in Orlando after the worst part of traffic. When really isn't it bad lol.

Since we live in Ocala we just hit 75 south to the western way a few more dollars in tolls but no i4, 192, sr 50 traffic or construction

OT - Is there a way around I-4? We are heading to FW in August with our new pop-up and would like to bypass all of the I-4 traffic. Thank you and have fun at the Fort on the 4th. We had to change from 7/1 to 8/5. We are sad to be missing our first 4th at FW but at least we still get to go!

As I write this, it's Tuesday around 5:40 pm. It's only Monday morning around 11:00 am at your office.

If you are coming from the north, I would highly suggest using the new Western Way exit. We used it coming back from our trip to Tennessee and it was so peaceful driving it and you end up coming onto the property around Animal Kingdom. It is really neat to see everything at night all lit up from a distance. The new WW goes around the edge of the property. I hope this helps everyone. BTW- it is a toll road, and does accept all the FL sunpass, o pass, e pass, etc.

Tim are you leaving Thursday night? If you arrive at 4:30 a.m. you're going to be sitting for a while. It's gonna be muggy too. Let me know if you'll need a place to hang until checkin. If I can get in a spot ur welcome to stay with us until ur cabin is ready.

Well it's hump day and absolutely nothing is going on here at work. I sell parts at a Ford dealership here in Ocala. Wednesday is usually quite busy. But the phones are silent. If you need parts and or service on your travels stop in at Ford of Ocala and we will fix you up. Im bored

Appreciate that. Figure 4:30 -5:00. Might be a bit longer pulling the golf cart trailer. Just want to be somewhere near or at the Fort so we avoid rush hour in Orlando. I figure, get in, take a cat nap, unload cart, breakfast then the MK. Just look for the trailer with the Black and Tan cart with 4 bikes....lol.
