If you have 2 adults with 3 children, one of which is under a year old, do you still need a category 4? Do you have to pay for the baby (other than port charges)? I was wondering since the baby would be in a crib (correct?) and you could bring a crib into any stateroom (correct?) , would you still need to get a room made for 5. Thanks

Yes--you need a room for 5--the baby counts as 1. Or you can do 2 rooms in a cheaper cat.(12,11,10) and that usually is cheaper plus gives you more space and more toilets!!(you have to list one adult name per room but then you can do sleeping arrangements to your liking--and if the kids are real young--make sure they're adjoining rooms and keep the door between them open at all times to hear and see them.)
Yes the baby costs, too.Not sure exactly what the charges are for our 7 1/2 month old (at cruise time) costs $148 (approx.).
Good luck!

Thanks for the quick response. I actually found another thread that answered alot of my questions. :
