5 in 1 Reflector discs

Anyone use one? Are they a handy thing to have? How about size? Can you get away with a 22" for outdoor portraits of a single person or my dog? Or would 32" be better?

If you want to try a inexpesinve alternative try looking in the automotive section at wal mart or target for something like this
