5 Hoosiers on a Holiday ~ A PTR

Hello and welcome to my pre-trip report!

We will be venturing to central Florida beginning June 13th for 10 days (maybe longer). So far, we will be staying at POR for a week and an undecided location for the rest of the days. That's right, we jumped on the buy 4 get 3 deal. Originally, we were shooting for mid-July.

The cast of characters include my DMom, DAunt, DS9, DD4/5, and Me.

While at WDW, we will be on the DDP and will be park hopping. As far as planning goes, it's all me! I am a control freak when it comes to planning something like this. Not saying that we have to follow everything to the T, but I have to have a rough outline.

Stay tuned for a summary of our cast members, along with a snapshot of our plans on and off-site! My goal for this weekend is to have our dining plans finished.

Without further delay, allow me to introduce our cast!

My mom and my aunt are going to shoot me! They have no clue that I am posting their pics online.

My Mom:

This is Fran, aka Francie, Mom, Momma, Grandma, and Aunt Francie, she will answer to anything. She took me on my first WDW trip in '82 before Epcot opened. We did have fun, but I missed out on a few of the rides. See, my is scared of heights, I mean 2nd rung of a ladder scared. When we attempted to ride Dumbo, she wouldn't let me allow him to 'fly'. She was petrified and I bring this up frequently. I was scarred for life I tell you! Over the years, she has taken the torment quite well. In fact, I had stopped for a while until we started talking about vacationing this summer. Oh, she is ia young 63. Might as well sneak that one in since she won't be reading.

Up next is my Aunt Susie:

Ah, Aunt Susie ~ aka Karen Sue, Susie, sister to my mom and Mom to my cousin. We have been joined at the hip for 33 years. Even when her son came alone, I was still her stick tight. Once upon a time, I conned her out of $20 at a local theme park. The little roller coaster was illin' and she asked me what it would take for us to not go on it. She can't take spinning rides too well either. I caught her completely by suprise with this pic! No makeup and hair undone. She will forgive me. She is 62. Mom and Aunt Susie are a year apart minus 9 days.

Ryan is 9 and he shares his birthday with my mom. I am an only child, so can you imagine how much mom has spoiled him??? He loves everything sports and science related. His sport of choice right now is basketball. He is fasinated with animals ~ especially dinosaurs and aquatic life. He could recite all kinds of facts about them. He was extemely excited when I told him that we would visit GatorWorld. He can't wait to ride the big rides with his mom.

Taylor is 4, but will celebrate her birthday at WDW. She is her bubby's stick tight and he does not like it. I thought for a while that she was going to be a tomboy, boy was I wrong! She is a princess in training! Speaking of princesses, Ariel is her favorite. She is currently taking a tumbling class at the Y and loving it.

This will be Ryan and Taylor's first trip!

Me:

Planner Extraordinaire! I had to keep this trip a secret from the kids since July 08. It was tough. I like most things Disney and this is my 4th trip, but first one staying at WDW.
