Looks like you had a great shopping trip! I do that too, I always pick things up here & there so its not as big of an expense all at once. I love Walmarts travel section. Our Walmart actually just expanded their selection a little bit! I'm excited to shop there & at my favorite store, Target, for our trip!!!

Countdown chain looks great!!! I really need to do something for Luke this trip but I know I can't do a chain. He'll take all of the links off at once...there's no way he'd wait & take one off at a time!

Your list looks great - sounds like you have everything covered! Although it will be really hot I will still be taking my hairdryer, straightener and make up...can't go anywhere without these essentials!

I don't use a straightener or hairdryer anytime so those don't need to be added. I don't like to go anywhere without eyeliner at least. Last year I got pictures taken at DHS without eyeliner and I hate them

Tracy totally know what you mean about fading bathing suits... Devon wore a orange Stitch bathing suit when we went to Disney last Aug... When he got out of the pool and it dried, it was PEACH from the chlorine!!!

I'm glad you posted the picture of the Gravol... I am looking for something to get in case we feel a bit quesy on our cruise next April!

The Walmart in my area just went all super... until now I haven't had a great place to shop from for travel stuff. They had great stuff I actually use!

I thought Ariana might not do well with a countdown chain too, taking the links off or playing with it as a necklace or really long scarf but last trip she loved it! Helps that it's really high up and you need a chair to reach it too.....

A friend just told me of a product I have to try out. It's a solution that you use just the teeniest amount of in a sink to rinse out your bathing suit and it pulls all the chlorine out.

I feel better knowing I have the ginger Gravol... no sickies!

Natalie, your packing slip is great! I'll be probably doing half or three quarters of that.... I like to do laundry half way thru so I can leave room in the suitcases to bring stuff home.

Ah, we're so used to getting those souveniers on arrival day that I always under pack. Ariana is 'graduating' to Alex's suitcase this trip. She'll probably have her Tinkerbell one as her carry on or she'd be asking for it all trip. She's had difficulties with the Magical Express taking Tinkerbell.

The part of the pharmacy with the Pepto Bismol and other stomach ailment thingies. Good luck finding it. Sorry about Skip or Paige not being able to go with you....

We had 5 suitcases last trip for the 4 of us. I bring a carry on and the girls are not allowed, it is enough work for them to get shoes and coats on and off on their own through security

That's a good point, I'm used to two extra sets of hands in George and Alex helping out threw those darn lines. I'll have my laptop as my carry on and thankfully Tinkerbell has wheels.... she can hold our swimsuits and flight entertainment. Demetri will love pulling the Tink suitcase while Ariana and I have the big ones.

Two years ago, I entered a draw at our local library where the prize was Disney on Ice tickets, and we won! We'd never been before and it was a fun thing to look forward to on our March break. The kids and I went and had a great time. I regretfully forgot my camera at home that day and I don't have any pictures


Last year, also at March break, I took Ariana and Demetri (Alex passed on this one ) to see Disney on Ice Princess Classics. I got the best seats in a certain price range and they were pretty good but I was jealous of the people that were RIGHT THERE. I told myself the next show, I'd get the tickets as early as I could and the closest we could get without breaking the bank. We loved the show and had a marvelous time. I did a review of it HERE if you're so inclined to take a peak.


We got a great book souvenier,

a pink rose keepsake for Ariana,

and Mickey head slushie cups.

This years Disney On Ice show in our area is Let's Celebrate! and I cannot wait to see it!

It seems to have a bit of everything in it, sure to be a fabulous show. I splurged a bit this time and got seats much closer than we've had before. Still not RIGHT THERE but just five rows up, centre ice. Woot! I can't wait to see the view we have.


Natalie and I and the kids will get the chance to have another mini DIS meet too because she's going with her girls too! We'll get together ahead of time (and take pictures this time - promise!) and enjoy the show. We're all VERY excited.
