Looks like an awesome show! I am so kicking myself. I could have got tickets...should have.. but didn't realize how amazing that show would have been! Now I know!

so last year I was following Mickey_Moms PTR and she did a movie night every week and for some reason her countdown to her trip went very fast. So this year she said she was going to do it again and I thought it sounded like a great idea and I would do it too! Unfortunately for us Tuesday works well for her family and Thursday works well for my family. This works well for all our wonderful readers as you will get to read about 2 movie nights a week!!!

S we had our first one tonight and I thought since I pay for the trip I can pick the first movie!!!

The movie I picked was...............

I took that picture on the TV screen

So we went a little overboard since it was our first one and made a lot of crafts. We made lanterns, a dragon and fans. I also got us chopsticks and fortune cookies. Dinner was half made by me and half picked up.

Now my son thought it was funny watcing us try to use chopsticks so he had the nerve to go get his own that I didn't know he had and show us how it was done

Emma figured it out pretty quick

After we ate we took down a weeks worth of countdown chain

Then we settled in to watch Mulan!

I think it was a great night! I'm sure I won't put as much work into every movie night but it was a lot of fun to plan.





Now as for trip plans, Tracy and I get to make our Dining reservations on Sunday morning, so we decided to get together on Saturday afternoon and figure out any stuff we really want to see at the parks or any firsts for any of us so we can come up with some sort of plan to get some posts up on here for you all.

Hopefully we will get up the dining reservations on Sunday and then we will work on our first full park day update!!!

I booked with kids stay and play free, I don't know if free dining will be a better discount or not since it's just me and the girls.

So Tracy and I were up bright an early this morning to book our ADR’s!!! We split them 4 and 4 so we would have a better chance of getting what we want, and so we each have some to book!!!

I have subbed and came over from Tracy's TR. I'm so excited you girls get to do a joint trip and it looks like your families have been getting along great.

That Disney on Ice Show looks amazing, hope I can take my kids sometime. I forget which one we saw before, we saw Nemo on Ice and one other???? But that one looks so cool with all the different holidays and characters.

I am loving the new planning stuff on Disney.com. No idea when it all rolled out but Natalie filled me in on the enhancements and when I checked it out last night, I was impressed.

We got together yesterday (sans kids!) and talked about our must do's for each park. Having six Disney fanatics together made it important to ensure we hit up all the attractions we all really wanted to do. Didn't want to miss anyone's favorite! So pulling out from our mutually extensive map collections we got down to some planning details.

Later that night, I got an email from Disney Destinations welcoming me aboard for "Ariana's Birthday Celebration!" which I thought was a nice touch. I'd attached celebrations to our trips before but that was the first time an email actually referenced it.

I tied my reservation number to my sign in and I could see the countdown to our trip, the Pop and date details and a reminder that we could make our dining reservations the next day. The dining link was right there so I got to familiarizing myself once again with the system so in the morning I could just hop on and go.

This morning was incredibly easy to make the reservations and like Natalie has said, we got all that we wanted at the times we'd hoped for.

Mama Melrose and Biergarten are new for us... neither of which we'd have chosen if it was a family trip. I can't wait to try them! This will be our first Fantasmic package too, should be cool to see how that plays out.

CRT, Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's are favorites that we haven't been to since a few trips ago and CRT is shaping up to be the highlight of the trip. That early CP time is looking pretty good too.

And of course, 1900 Park Fare, Tusker and Ohana are more favorites that we just had a blast with last year (and this year for me at 1900 PF! )
