5 days on the DDP -- will we eat here again?

This was my and DH's favorite meal while at Disney. We highly recommend! :thumbsup2

The atmosphere was great... and the AK Lodge is sssssooooooo nice! When we walked in the lobby of the resort, DH said "I so want to stay here next time!" (we were at All-Star Movies --- big step up to AKL!).

Boma is downstairs, and in the waiting area there were African drums that all the kids were playing on. Needless to say, it was a little loud but the kids loved it.

The food was great! Very flavorful! I really liked the ribs and the potatoes with Afritude. Both DDs had mac & cheese and chicken strips. DD6 was a little adventurous and tried some selections from the "adult" buffet... she said the ribs were good but too spicy for her but she really liked the saffron rice. I don't remember what all DH had to eat, but he loved everything he tried.

Boma is definitely on the list of places we would eat at again!

Everyone in my family (two adults, 11 yr old, 5 yr old) LOVED Boma! The food is great - the ribs are wonderful, the sausage & lentil stew is wonderful, and I loved the Cous Cous Markesh (sp?). For dessert, my dh loved the volcano cakes, the kids loved the zebra mounds, and I liked the mango tarts.

I also highly recommend Boma.

Thanks for the reviews! Loved the photos! Adorable! We're dining at both Boma & Chef Mickeys in December & can't wait! I wish I could get my DD17 to try something like saffron rice. I also agree with you about Tony's Town Square. We ate there last trip & although I LOVE "Lady & the Tramp", the food was underwhelming.

DD6 really surprised me that night at Boma. DH will try anything, I'm quite picky and both DDs are, too. But when we went up to the buffet, DD6 saw the saffrom rice and asked for some (she does like rice and eats it here at home, especially fried rice). Then she asked if she could have some other "grown up" food so we let her. She did say alot of what she tried was good but too spicy for her. But most of the time, DD6 will try at least one bite of something (even I won't do that!)... forget about asking DD4 to try something new. She is perfectly fine with her mac & cheese, thank you! :)

Thanks for reassuring me about Boma; I was worried that DD wouldn't find anything to eat. Maybe there will be an Xmas miracle & my 17 year old will want to try "grown up" food! ;)
