Mon- breakfast at W canyon- depart for home!

I think we have enough rest bulit in.... we have never gone for this long.... does it look okay?

We have always done no less than 7 days of park sin a row and had no problems. Have Fun!

I know I wouldn't....I would have to take one day in the middle and just vegetate or rest by the pool.

You can do it, as long as you take a mid-day break.

Your schedule doesn't look too outrageous to me. You planned breaks during your days. I think you will survive. Mickey

We are doing this in Sept. I would think in Nov it would be easier for you due to the cooler weather. I posted a thread and 95% responded that it would be no problem as long as we take a long break each day and the parks are closing rather early.

We usually do the parks everyday if the trip is 5 or less. If it's more than 5 then we would schedule a day of rest.

Most of our trips are about 5 days because we split our week with Universal.

Like you, we usually have a mid-day break so it's not so bad. It's absolutely doable!

Have fun!

It looks like you have some evenings where you are resting plus one day with a break in the afternoon? I'm sure you will be OK .. if not you can always change your mind and rest one day.

We are whimps so we always like at least one break day by around day three. Last year when I took my dancers to Disney we had 4 straight days in the parks (with breaks) .. I was about to pass out by the last day. After they left and my family checked into the poly .. I feel asleep at like 6pm and slept until the next AM.

We are excited about going to Disney during a cooler time this year as this seems to take it's toll on us. Will be interesting to see if we fare better.

I think it sounds great. We did 6 days in a row end of May-June this year as we had a SP's for the first time. We usually do the "Floridian" short trips with 3-4 nights tops. This last time we did not do all day parks, same as you have planned. In fact the first day we just did 3 hours, and the last day 2 hours (then we checked out, let kids play in CR arcade one last time, and went to DTD for end of trip shopping). The other days we took breaks in the middle or either did not go back in the evening. It was the best trip. We really got to enjoy the resort this way. The SP's put the parks in a whole new perspective. We will be there in Nov too! Can't believe we are going at that busy time, but with kids in school it works better. We will be at AKL. Enjoy WL-we love it there too! :D

Yes..you will survive nicely with 5 days in a row....I would rather do five days in a row than waste a day during a short trip resting there. We generally do four days, but have been known to do five days in a row...not a problem at all, have fun now..:)

Thanks! Our first day (the WED.) is still up in the air. Ds will not go to school and DH will take off work, but I may attend class. I will be starting grad school in the fall and will have a class 9-11:50am. We would leave about noon and take 3-4 hours to get there. Our plan is to check in, eat at Whispering canyon and go over to Mk for Spectro and FITS (they did have it last year on this night).

Turkey day - epcot until about 2pm and then WL until our PS at chef Mickey. We will just go back to the lodge that night. Sat night we will eat at Artist Point and go back to our room. So we actually have two nights that we aren't "going out" again.

Nothing is set in stone and since we went 7 times last year, we are taking it slow.

I just changed our last full day. We will do EE at MK/break and have dinner at LTT before the MVMCP!!! I just got off the phone with Disney dining.

I'm still nervous because the longest we've stayed is three nights and I was ready to go home. I haven't really been on a real "vacation" since I was a child (except for a seven day cruise 15 years ago). I have grown up going to Disney, but the "Floridian way", which is basically for the weekend. How am I even going to pack for this????

We just did 3 straight days in the park with 2 toddlers and it was exhausting. It was very hot, but we did take nap breaks in the afternoons. If you don't want to take a whole day off of the park, I would try to take 1/2 days off here and there.

I don't have any good advice on what to pack, but be organized so you know where everything is.

My recent trips have been 5-6 days each, and I wouldn't dream of not spending time in the parks each day. I'm one of those who does EE whenever possible, and I usually end up getting a lot done in the mornings. I do try to go back to the resort for lunch and a break. But then I always find myself not being able to rest at the pool or in the room and end up resort hopping or going to DTD or the Boardwalk in the afternoons.

Having the couple of days without returning to the parks in the evenings ought to help though. Have fun!:)

Thanks for all the advice!

Our usual thing is to leave the park right after an early lunch- tired or not. Our strategy has always been to leave BEFORE we feel tired. On our Epcot day we will stay until at least 2, since we are trying to do the World Showcase. We will be at Mexico at 11am when it opens. This trip we are planning on using our car because of the crowds and the rep of the WL transportation! Hopefully the weather will be nice. We re alos up and out VERY early each day. On our first trip with our DS we were at the turnstiles FIRST every morning -I have pictures to prove it! I guess it's not so much the "physical tiredness" that has me worried. It's more the "disneyed out" feeling that I don't want to feel!!!

To Suzy: I didn't think that there was such a thing as being "Disneyed Out". The most time I've ever spent in the parks was 7 days, from the time the parks opened until the time they closed & I still didn't want to go home.

I'm so glad to hear that! I am one of thsoe that gets depressed right before the trip .It goes away when it's time to leave, but the first night at the resort is hard for me. I get even MORE depressed. I guess it is just anxiety, because the next day I wake up ready to go! Thanks for all the responses. This trip shoudl be fun. My mom and her DH will be there for all five nights (not hanging out together the whole time) and then my inlaws are coming in for the last two nights so we can all do MCMVP for DS's birthday. We will all be at the WL.
