Hello - We are leaving for Disneyworld on 11/18. (4 adults and 2 teenagers). We will have 5 days to spend there - 11/19 thru 11/23. We have been to MK, Epcot and MGM back in 1997.

But my question is this. This year, we want to see MK, MGM, Epcot and AK. We will visit each park one day, but are trying to decide which part to visit twice (since we have five days total.) I think MK, and hubby thinks Epcot.

I cannot remember all that well from our 97 trip, as to what was where, etc. Which park to you all recommend to be visited one extra day? It will definitely have to be MK or Epcot. Again, there will be 4 adults (2 in their 40's, 2 in their mid-20's) and 2 teenagers, age 14 & 16.) Any opinions will be appreciated!! Which one has MORE to see and may take longer than a day?

Maybe for one day you guys take a break and go to DTD or some other activity. DH and I thought that we could visit each park in seven days, but we needed at least one day to relax. I would suggest to not plan ahead for the one "free day"and see if you had a chance to do everything that you wanted to do at a particular park. If there were things that were missed at one park then go on that free day.

Between the two, Epcot takes a lot more time to cover if you want to see everything. I love all of the live shows in the countries, like the Chinese Acrobats, or the Statue, or the World Showcase Players. Problem is that it is hard to see all of them in one visit and do some exploring of the shops within the countries, not to mention the attractions in Future World.

Perhaps you should do a day in each park and then take a vote after you've seen them all as to which one you would like to visit again based on not having been able to get everything done or simply which one the folks in your party like better.

I agree with the last poster. We did a park each day and then went back to the one we missed things in. My Dh loves Epcot and luckily so do the kids, so we visited that park alot. The day we spent at Animal Kingdom, we went back to Epcot since AK closes early. That's a way to do Epcot twice and save your extra day somewhere else. We did also go Downtown for a few hours one day just to get a break from the parks and went back to a park later in the afternoon.

I think that depends on individual taste. You're not going to see everything anyway, so pick the one you'd enjoy, like others have suggested. Some people think the parks are only the rides, and don't even consider the shows and food. So, some take a day (or even less!) to do a park, while others need two or more, because they take advantage of more things the park has to offer and want to experience some things more than once.

With a group that large, I'd guess that you'll be splitting up anyway during your trip ----- it's very difficult to please 6 people and why try. My DH would also say Epcot and I love MK. It's wonderful when everyone can spend time experiencing the types of attractions and shows that appeals to them.

I would decide what you want to do again after you are there. Or split the day (assuming you have parkhoppers).

Do you have hoppers? If so I would mix it up. MK can be done by 2pm if no kids are involved then hop over to Epcot. Eat, parade, shop, and Iluminations. Next day or so do Epcot in the am and then MGM in the afternoon. Mgm is much better after the morning crowds are thinned! Especially with teens; TOT, Star Wars, RnR coaster, fantasmic all can be done in the afternoon and evening! Don't be fooled by the "daily routine" if you have hoppers.

 thanx to all of you for the great replies. they are much appreciated!! I think what we will do is visit each park once, then decide on our last day which one to re-visit. now i am thinking it will probably by epcot, but possibly even epcot AND another, since we do have park hopper passes. Thanx again!
