VMK has struck again with another right where it counts!

Now the sell back price of Pirate Items are only 5 stinking credits!

Sometimes I think they do this just to get under our skin.


UPDATE ! - After logging out and coming back in, items were selling for 50 again. Therefore I am not sure what happened, but I guess a word of warning to not just keep hitting sell and make sure things don't change on you without noticing. It did in fact go to 5, say it in the message, and was proven to be the case when checking credits. Oh well good thing things are back to normal and sorry for the scare.

UPDATE 2 - Ok here is the deal now I have the following....Posters are selling for 5 credits and the rest is still at 50. Crazyness!

Well how about that! Back to 50 for me.....ok big sigh of relief. Must be a bug or something, but for a while I was only getting 5 credits and I even double check credits thinking maybe the message was wrong. Oh well something for everyone to keep an eye out for.

Okay okay here's what's happening. The new ones, ones from codes you just put in, are selling for 5 credits. The ones from the codes you put in earlier are all selling for 50 credits. It's not going back and forth, the old ones are just worth more.

Actually I think it may just be posters versus furniture now. All the codes I am entering today are still from the vast amount I gathered yesterday afternoon. I still haven't even touched today's codes.

Oh yeah and after 250 still no costume!

I sold a bunch of stuff (using new codes) for 50 credits and then it changed to 5. Logged in again, and it was back to 50. I think it's a bug.

Btw…I was giving away free pirate stuff until more than one guest expressed great displeasure that I was not giving away the pirate costume.

All the items I sold from codes I entered after a certain time today sold for 5 credits, and all the items from codes I entered before a certain time today sold for 50. At least that's what happened to me every single time...

The official sell-back value of all of the new Pirates items - Dead Man's Chest, Davey Jones Organ, Pirates of The Caribbean 2, Skeleton Monkey, and each of the four pieces of the Jack Sparrow costume - is now 5 credits, down from 50 earlier today.

If you're still getting 50 for any of it, then finish selling it quickly; the price will drop as soon as your computer realizes there's an updated file with the prices in it.

Me, I earned almost 10,000 credits by selling back all the stuff I was getting in my attempt to win a pirate outfit. Which, by the way, I finally did - perseverance pays off!

I knew the change would eventually arrive and earned about 15,000 credits selling back as quickly as I earned them (except for the chest).

After enter more than 400 codes, still no costume. What are the odds?

I have sold so many monkeys and posters when they were both 50 each. I got about 5,050 credits from selling JUST MONKEYS AND POSTERS! I have about 100 more codes to enter ROFL.

VMK always does that, with Pink Doors and Narnia the value was at 50 and then it dropped to 5 the next day I think.

I expected it to be at 5 when I signed on yesterday morning but it didnt' change until the evening.

My bigger concern would be that they are like the crates and will change them in some fashion but making them not stack should do the trick for angering the masses.
