I need help with this. It seems like it should be easy - everyone says DLR is easier to plan but it doesn't feel like it - it feels overwhelming!
Of those five mornings, we will have EE three times: DCA once and DL twice. This leaves two other mornings and both are DCA EMH days for which we are ineligible (Friday and Monday). We want to do everything available at DCA, so I think we will have to go on one of those two days.
What is the best touring strategy for the non EE entry day, ie, where should we head first? Would that be the best day to head right to get an A&E FP and Olaf pager? I have read A&E FPs go fast too.
We would like to ride RSR at least twice, once at night, but I hate for one of us to lose a chunk of morning family ride time waiting for a FP. I tracked RSR availability over President's Day weekend which looks to have had a similar crowd level as our dates in March and RSR FPs were gone by 10:30, so I guess the wait is inevitable but I was thinking that might be a good day to try to land the night FP so I may run over there after 10 am and chance it? We do not want to do single rider line, my youngest is technically old enough (7 is the age minimum, is that right?) But he wouldn't be comfortable riding alone.
Any advice appreciated. We will have hoppers so if there is any timing you think would work better, please let me know!
