We’re looking into a trip next summer- 2019. There would be 5 adults on this trip- the youngest would be 18. It would be my family of four plus my brother. We have priced out 2 separate rooms at All Star Movies or a suite at All Star Music. I think the regular rooms at the moderates that sleep 5 would be too cramped.

The price difference between two choices is minimal according to this summer’s prices.

Are the pull out beds in the suites comfortable for adults to sleep on? Anyone with experiences?

5 adults are tough spot. We have 4 in our party and my kids are adults so don’t share a bed.

The trundle beds are only a little over 5ft so tough for any adult. They are at some sections of the various Mods

Old Key West has villas that would sleep that, same with Boardwalk (DVC you can pay cash). But the price is pretty steep

So in the end we did Art of Animation suite last year and now going back in just about a week. For your family, not sure how your kids sleeping s works out. IF they can share a bed, then the suite is great. You can get the main bedroom, your kids split the Murphy pull down bed and brother get the sleeper sofa. 2 bathrooms really help also, for getting ready and the main bedroom has a door that closes so give you guys privacy that is nice to have on vacation.. :)

Google up some videos. We did Nemo section last year and paid the premium price. It was not worth it for us. We leave next Saturday and we took Cars sections this year.

Thanks! My kids do share a bed on vacations- thankfully my daughter is small- 5’2”- and that helps that situation. We don’t want to go more expensive than the moderates and I just read that about the trundle beds- yeah- that’s not good for an adult.

I’ll look into Art of Animation too- thanks!

Right now I’m leaning towards two separate rooms at ASMo- but will have to wait until next summer’s prices come out to see how big of a difference it is in price between 2 separate rooms and a suite. Two rooms would give more options on sleeping for my kids. But- if the price difference is a significant amount- we’ll look at the suites. Just not sure how comfortable the pull out beds would be for adults.

Just remember that two rooms with adults there is no promise your rooms will be near each other. Not a big deal for some families but just a heads up

We did the price for 2 rooms at Pop for our trip. Vs AOA suite. It was closer then i thought but yeah Pop cheaper. In the end the small price difference was worth it as we like aoa better

But 2 rooms Pop is a solid call!

Also, fees apply for adults in room over 2. No fee in family suites or DVC condos. Fees are per night. 2 rooms will be much better. If budget is primary concern off site is better.

We did 4 adults (needed 3 beds) in the family suites last trip and it was good. It depends on who can/will share beds. Family suites give you 3 sleeping spaces as do some of the DVC. Deluxes will be two beds and a day bed.

And by then queen beds throughout.
